Wer gehörte nochmal zu den Burton Boyz? waren das nicht Pharaoh, Bam und nen 3.? Album ist ja nie eins rausgekommen, sondern nur ein einzelner Track oder? auf dem G-Rapp The General Album, wenn ich mich nicht irre, aber bin grad zu faul, die CD rauszusuchen...

War Nutt eigl nen rappendes Member von Street Military oder in wiefern war der dort bei denen? Hab von dem glaub ich noch nie nen Vers oder sowas gehört, zumindest nie die Stimme gekannt.

burton boyz is pharoah with his 2 brothers : ski-bo and too. they have indeed no cd out.
only a few tracks and features on killa klan projects.

nutt was more the hypeman in street military. he indeed didn't rap. maybe a verse or 2.

TOO FAR vom Blood Doctrine -Album wird also the New-Single auf Rinos neuem Album Speed of Thought sein. Warum das so ist, ist mir persönlich nicht so ganz klar. Rino hat das so begründet:



K-Rino: The “Speed of Thought” album is collaboration with Wolfpack (UK label) and Jai Boo. It’s a combination of songs from previous projects with five new songs on it. On a hard grind, it’s to introduce me to the UK audience. “Too Far” was the single they selected which they felt would go over well in the UK. That song was actually on my “Blood Doctrine” album that I released last year.

SPEED OF THOUGHT drops 21th September...Don't forget to order it.

Auf einschlägigen Murer-One Solos haben nicht so wirklich Features mit dem Blanksta stattgefunden. Die waren mehr auf den SPC-Clique Alben oder Rino-Solos zu finden. Das erklärt wohl dessen fehlende Präsenz auf M-1's Best Of-Album.

Murder One! Welcome to the Hip Hop Village! Can you tell us how did you get in the game?

I got in because of my love of music. At that time that I got in you had people like Run DMC, The Fat Boys, LL just guys that were doing something that nobody else was doing at that time and they really influenced me to the game.

You're a member of SPC (South Park Coalition) which was founded by K Rino. How did you become a member?

Actually we were competing against each other my high school and their high school you had Klondike Cat, AC Chill, Gangsta Nip and K Rino. The whole issue was we had to meet up at an appointed time and compete. That's the time I became friends with K Rino. I was one of the third or fourth members to join SPC.

Tell us how you got the name Murder One.


The name Murder One came from just me being one of those guys that, whatever I put my heart to I had to compete and complete so in order to be myself I had to murder whatever I do to be on top. So that's where Murder One came from.

For someone who's not familiar with your music how would you describe your music/style ?


My style is more rough, rugged and straight direct. What ever I want to say is out there and you're going to get it.

You've released numerous albums and compilations; previously you released an album called ‘Family and Friends' ?


Yeah ‘Family and Friends' is like a compilation of me and the guys I socialise with. People in my organisation like South Park Coalition and the UK now! I have LATE on there from Wolftown Recordings in the UK he blessed me. I enjoy working with everybody. Music is music to me. My thing was, for the guys in the clique who weren't putting albums out yet, ‘Family and Friends' would help to promote them and keep their names out there until they released their albums.

You're about to release a mixtape on UK label Wolftown Recordings called ‘South Park Representer'. Can you tell us about that?

I'm doing this album with LATE and Tricksta from Wolftown Recordings and it's real nice because it gives the UK a flavour of Murder One. I definitely want to get overseas because I think that's the market we need to touch on now.

What other projects are you working on ?

I also have a solo album coming out called ‘Dirty Game' and that's going to have Trae the Truth, Chalie Boy who are big friends of mine and SPC members like Thugstar and most definitely I have to have the God on there K Rino. Whatever project I do I have to have my brother K Rino on there, whether it's my album or a compilation. I'm supposed to get with Devin for the last track but I don't know if he'll make it. I got production by Dope E, my boy from Arkansas called Codeine, I got my boy Keyes (Anm. gemeint ist Keyza Soze aus Berlin, Mitproduzent zahlreicher Rino-Tracks auf dessen letzten Alben) on there too, I think he's from Germany. Apart from ‘South Park Representer' being released in the UK, I'll be dropping this album out here in the States before the end of the year.

As well as being a rapper do you also produce ?

I produce but I don't play any instruments. I'm old school so I beat box a bit to explain what I want. The people I work with they do it or I bring samples of product and they just put my vision to their vision.

All the other SPC members mainly, I got a new artist called TB Lyrics. He's like a Big Moe slash Chalie Boy. He's singing on my new album that I'm about to drop.
