Eligh & Jo Wilkinson - On Sacred Ground
Eligh and his mom, Jo Wilkinson, who has sung on more than a few Legends releases, got together and made a dope album that fuses the worlds of hip hop and folk music together! We know it sounds a bit strange, but trust us...it works! This is the perfect album to share with your own mother, older sister, or grandmother. Let their music bridge the generational gap!
The album is dropping on March 10, 2009 and features, Slug of Atmosphere, The Grouch, Pigeon John, and Jiro Yamaguchi of Ozomatli. The album will also come with a children's book which was written by Jo Wilkinson and illustrated by Eligh. The first single, "By and By" which features The Grouch is available as a FREE download on their MySpace page, head over there, check it out and tell a friend and share it with your own mother.

Afro Classics - Scarub & Very
Afro Classic (AC's or Classics) is a rap duo consisting of Scarub and Very of Us Pros. Los Angeles based, they have been working together since 1999. In 2001 they released their first group album self entitled Afro Classics, which was followed by two Japan tours, and numerous performances up and down the west coast of The United States.
Now back with a new perspective on music, Afro Classics have brought forth The Classic EP. This beat driven, well versed, EP consists of six (6) progressive, hard-hitting cuts. Their songs cover a range of topics such as relationships, succession in life, and perseverance. It has been a long time coming since their last release, and now in 2009 Afro Classics present The Classic EP, also being released on March 10, 2009

The Grouch & Eligh - Say G&E!
Legendary Music is proud to announce that The Grouch & Eligh are officially back with their 3rd release together which will be called, "SAY G&E!". The album will be released on April 7th, 2009 and will feature Slug of Atmosphere, Sage Francis, Blu, Mistah Fab, Gift of Gab, Pigeon John, Mike Marshall and Mystic. The album will also feature production by Eligh, The Grouch, Rick Rock, Amp Live, and Flying Lotus.

The Grouch - "Breath" Video

Sunspot Jonz/Temper Twins - Videos
Sunspot Jonz has a new side project called, "The Temper Twins" with fellow Oakland native and Mod Squad founding member, Julian Brooks. Their sound fuses Julian's HipHop, Drum N Bass, Electronica, House, and alt. indie rock, with Sunspot's signature pounding bass lines, melodies and lyrics. These two innovators and pioneers, Julian Brooks aka "Jimmy Temper" and Sunspot Jonz aka "Tim Temper" are creating yet another genre of music
