I got some great announcements to make so let's get started.

1. October 9th is coming up this Tuesday. That means if you buy "Back to Dust" from Sev and DJ Dust this weekend - your copy will be shipped right away. If you've already placed a pre-order, then expect your CD to arrive this week!!! Word up. If you haven't already ordered a copy, you can get it at our online store (www.hiphopismusic.com), www.sphereofhiphopstore.com, www.ughh.com, www.accesshiphop.com and many more spots online. Remember, this "Back to Dust" CD is actually a limited edition DIGIpack release. We expect to be sold out pretty fast. The album will always be available digitally - but if you want a sealed copy with fresh artwork then now is the time. You can check out leaks of the first two singles at www.myspace.com/sumoraps

2. The second Hiphop IS Music release for October is the Othello album dropping on the 30th. "Alive At The Assembly Line" is worth the price alone, but if you place a pre-order before the official street date then we will hook you up with a FREE bonus EP. The EP is from Othello and DJ Manwell and it's called "Rain System". We just got the final master back from the homie Change, so the EP is available NOW. As soon as you place your order, just email me your receipt (no matter where you buy it from) and I will supply you with a link to download the EP for free. We leaked ONE song from the EP at www.myspace.com/hhismusic . Check it out. Othello is going to be touring heavy to promote his new album. Check out tour dates at www.myspace.com/othello

3. The forth album from Braille (that's me) is nearly finished. I've literally spent over a year working on this record. I saved up money and bought beats from some of my favorite producers right before my daughter was born. I've continued picking up new beats and writing my lyrics with a fine tooth comb over the last year. The first single "The IV" will officially LEAK online next week. I don't want to give exact details until it actually happens - but it should be a great kick off for the project. "The IV" will also be dropping as a vinyl single under a partnership with www.hhv.de - so I'll have more info about that soon.

4. That's about it. The Ohmega Watts album "Watts Happening" is also dropping Oct. 9th. Ohmega was the best man at my wedding and I'm always impressed with him as a person and as an artist. Pick up his record, you won't be disappointed. You can also pick up previous releases from Hiphop IS Music such as Surreal "Future Classic", Sivion "Spring of the Songbird" and Theory Hazit "Extra Credit". The IV leaked!!!!!!!!

The song is called "The IV". Marco Polo did the beat and Rob Swift laced the cuts. We will be dropping a vinyl single this year and then dropping the full album titled "The IV Edition" in Spring of 2008.

Stimmt, The Find war mir auch schon zuöde, zu eindimensional. Die haben mittlerweile aber auch so einen Einheits-Sound gefunden der nur schwer noch große Variationen zulässt...

Free DOWNLOAD – I just released a free download mix called “Box of History”. DJ Idull mixes and blends over 21 songs from the last 8 years of my career. Most of these songs are from feature appearances and a few are very rare. The Lee Brothers created a special flash world for the download. Check it out at www.hiphopismusic.com/BOH/SplashPage2.html . You can download TWO parts of the mix, read the story, get the credits, grab the artwork, support via donation and find a bunch of hidden links. If you read the story, it explains that we are trying to raise money for some promotional expenses with “The IV Edition”. If you’d like to donate 50 cent, 2 bucks or 10 bucks in exchange for the mix then that would be greatly appreciated. Either way, it’s FREE for the taking so share it with all your friends.

Braille - IV
Vor geraumer Zeit auch von uns angekündigt, nähert sich das Veröffentlichungsdatum des (offiziell) vierten Albums von Wortpoet Braille am 15.04.2008 immer mehr. Das einfach nur "IV" betitelte und über Syntax/Koch Records veröffentlichte neue Werk wird dabei einen weiteren Meilenstein in der Karriere von Braille setzen und erstmals eine wahre Heerschar vor allem an bekannten Produzenten featuren. Neben Beats von u.a. DJ Spinna, Shuko, Oh No, Kno und J-Zone werden aber auch Wortbeiträge von Gästen wie z.B. Mr. J Medeiros, Speech (!) und Theory Hazit zu hören sein. Klingt nach einem bunt gemischten und abwechslungsreichen Album...
