Je öfter ich es höre, desto besser gefällt es mir, genau wie beim Suga Free Album! "Throwin Up Da C" is Bombe. Soopafly macht immernoch so geile Beats wie früher. Kurupt enttäuscht mich aber etwas.

Ich hab's eben im Auto gehört und war ziemlich enttäuscht, außer "Cali Iz Active" und "Throwin’ Up Da C" hat mir nichts so richtig gut gefallen. Jetzt hab ich's mir noch mal über Kopfhörer reingezogen und muß sagen, dass da doch viel mehr drin steckt
Ist sicher kein Klassiker und die South Anleihen hätte sie sich gerne sparen können (wie auch Ice Cube), aber besser als das letzte Album ist es allemal

Rap Group Accuses Snoop And The Dogg Pound Of Jacking, Order Cease And Desist

Godz Gift, a Los Angeles based rap duo, has issued an immediate cease and desist order to Doggy Style Records and Koch Entertainment that could halt the release of The Dogg Pound's sophomore album Cali Iz Active, which hits stores next week.

The group is alleging that "Hard On A Hoe," a song off Cali Iz Active, uses the same beat and chorus off one of the duo's songs posted on their myspace.com web page.

"The actual court filing has not taken place as of the memo, however, the group (Godz Gift) has issued an immediate cease and desist to Doggy Style Records and Koch Entertainment," the group's representative confirmed with SOHH.

The duo is presently trying to settle the issue. If all the parties fail to come to an agreement in the next few days, an injunction will be sought.

"These young men (Godz Gift) aren't looking for 5 minutes of fame, at the expense of The Dogg Pound; they simply seek justice for work earnestly created" added the representative. "It's difficult enough in the music business, one so rooted by deception; we now have established artists feeling the pressure to meet deadlines that the creative process has to be compromised."

Koch representatives were not available for comment.

Hab mir das Teil jetz auch ma angehört... find's bisher noch nich so besonders, hoffe das ändert sich noch!
Dass es kein Klassiker wird war ja klar, aber etwas mehr hab ich schon erwartet, meine Favs nach dem 1. hören:

- Cali Iz Active
- Keepin It Gangsta
- Throwin' Up Da C

Find ich auch die besten und dann noch KUSHN N' PUSHN und IT'S CRACCIN ALL NIGHT. Eins der schlechtesten Lieder ist SITTIN ON 23Z und dann noch SHE LIKES DAT
Einige der anderen Lieder "kommen" aber noch, wenn man sie öfter hört

Dirdee, dir scheint sie ja richtig zu gefallen?

Die is ja auch nicht schlecht, aber vom Sound und von den Features nicht das was die meisten sich hier wünschen/erwarten... aber wir sind halt in 2006 und im Gegensatz zu "Dilli & Gotti II" is "Cali Iz Active" schon geil.

Where do you get your latest D.P.G. fix? As always, right here on the dub! Daz' highly anticipated solo debut on So So Def, "So So Gangsta", which was pushed back to a September release date, is almost complete. You heard "All I Need", and the current single "On Some Real Shit" with Rick Ross, and now we have the permission to let you listen to some more preview tracks from the album.
