Geffen Records is scheduled to release Talib Kweli's upcoming fourth LP, Beautiful Struggle, soon. The LP is the sequel to 2002's solo debut Quality.

"Beautiful Struggle is like another way of saying a good fight," Talib Kweli said about the title of the LP. "In describing the struggle you are also talking about where you're trying to get at the end of that struggle. Where you're trying to get is somewhere beautiful. So while the struggle might be hard, it's what you're fighting for that makes it beautiful."

"With Reflection Eternal, the first album was real hard," he continued. "We were trying to find ourselves, that made it a great album. But it was so hard to do, it kinda also tore us apart. Tek needed to figure out where he was, I needed to figure out where I was. We both have a clearer idea of what we want to do and it's going to be easier to work now. We've always had intentions of making more albums."

Die Blocc Movement 2 wurd vor ´nem Jahr oder so mal angekündigt, in den Releases, die alle 2003 erscheinen sollen (u.a. mit Thug Lordz usw.) Hab mir schon damals gedacht, dass das nich alles 2k3 kommt...und freu mich, dass es jetzt doch rauskommt!

While Crooked I was on Death Row's Roster, another artist that had potential, Eastwood, was cast into Crooked I's shadow. Not anymore.

Eastwood is now working on his first mixtape:
"Self Made Mixtape Vol 1: Tha Streetz".

It will feature Kurupt, Live Wire, Spice 1, TRI, RAY J, Tone, Lil J Rock, and others. Unfortunately, this will be a short 10 track mixtape.

Madlib and MF Doom are set to release their debut album MadVillainy as the group 'MadVillain' on March 23rd, 2004. The group already made a buzz with some of the recording sessions being leaked online and their two singles "Money Folder" b/w "Americas Most Blunted" and "Curls" b/w "All Caps". Madlib handles the production with Doom rhyming over his beats. Guest appearances include Viktor Vaughn (aka MF Doom), Quasimoto (aka Madlib), Wildchild, Medaphoar and Stacy Epps.
