Crooked I is set to please fans, by releasing the first single from his debut album, "B.O.S.S. MUSIC" in January, and by ending 2005 with the release of his highly-anticipated DVD entitled "Life After Death Row" plus the brand new mixtape, "Young Boss: Vol 2", which features his protégés the Horse Shoe Gang and the On One Squad.
The track is due to be aired in early January, and is scheduled for release just a few weeks later. The exact release date and title have yet to be announced, but the song has been chosen, and will be the first official single from the highly-anticipated forthcoming solo album release from Crooked I, "B.O.S.S. MUSIC".

Crooked I is also coming out with a DVD that will be accompanied by a Mini Soundtrack, the projects working title is "Life After Death Row" which documents his experience on leaving Death Row. The DVD, which is scheduled for release this fall, or January at the latest contains news clips, police raids, and shootings. The DVD cover is similar to the Life After Death Biggie Cover. People who can be seen on the DVD include Ashanti, Ja Rule, Left Eye, Russell Simmons, Loon and other well-known entertainers and entertainment icons.
"The DVD is smokin with extra rare behinds the scenes footage of Crooked I doing tha most. This documentary answers the many questions that have been on the minds of every west coast Hip Hop fanatic," Dynasty Records representative Wizeguyzz told HoodStars.net. "This project will be the first of 3 other DVD's that Dynasty will release in 2006."
Still, fans may have to wait some time until they hear the long awaited debut from Crooked I. So the Los Angeles-born, Long Beach-bred emcee has teamed up with DJ Skee to release the new "Young Boss: Vol 2" mixtape this fall, to hold the masses over. Crooked I has nothing but a green light in front of him now, after weathering a long storm that would have ended the careers of most successful Hip Hop artists today. This holds well for the West Coast and Hip Hop period which is in desperate need of a new sound that will ultimately raise the bar for Hip Hop veterans and new artists coming in the game.
The rapper's anticipated debut, "B.O.S.S. MUSIC", is slated to drop in the second quarter of 2006.
