"Too Raw For Retail" finds Krayzie Bone and Thugline at their best on tracks such as the Neptunes-laced "Who's House", an interplotation of the Run-DMC classic "Run's House" while "I Can Make You" sees Krayzie Bone and West Coast legend Kokane over a beat by Snoop Dogg producer LT Hutton.

"I Get Around" is a classic Krayzie Bone solo, finding him effortlessley blending the rap and R&B vibe as only Bone Thugs-N-Harmony can do. R&B legend Ronald Isley gets down with Krayzie Bone on "Bringing Me Up", a track cut from his recent album "Gemini: Good vs. Evil" due to sample clearances, as is the case with the weed-anthem "Zonin'". On the track "Forever Bone Thug", Krayzie Bone unites with fellow Bone brother Wish Bone, who co-founded Thugline Records with Krayzie Bone in 1999. "Too Raw For Retail" features the roster of the label, whose artists include Keef G, K-Mont, Asu and P-Real.
