Also Leprechaun und Undaground Legend waren sehr gut , U Gotta Feel Me hat mich sehr enttäuscht. Kaum gute Tracks auf dem Album und mit diesen ganzen Gästen (Killer Mike, David Banner,...) kann ich mit Flip zusammen überhaupt nix anfangen...

"Sunshine" war allerdings ein cooler Track zum chillen, also meiner Freundin hats gefallen...

Flip ist eindeutig auf die kommerzielle Schiene gekommen (was ja nix schlechtes ist), aber so Tracks wie früher "Freestyle King", "I Got Flow" oder "I Can Do Dat" wird es wohl nimmer geben...

Lil Flip address beefs with Slim Thug, Paul Wall and critics who think that Southern MCs can't rhyme...

In an interview with SOHH.com back in May, Slim Thug lashed out at Lil' Flip, calling him "a hoe ass nigga" for allegedly dissing him on Z-Ro's "From The South." On the other hand, the self-proclaimed freestyle king said he wasn't aiming at Slim, but at "The People's Champ."

"I didn't dis him," Flip told SOHH.com. "I was talking about the white dude. Before he even came in the rap game I was his [Paul Wall's] idol. He called me everyday. He got a tattoo on him-like a Lil Flip tattoo. When I got shot he got a tattoo. He was calling me, 'You know I look up to you. Where you got hit at?' I told him and he was like, 'I'mma get a tattoo for you,' so he got a tattoo with a bullet and the date I got shot on it."

Flip says that people thought that his beef with Paul started because of Paul's association with former Flip rival T.I., but Flip says that's not so.

"I'm not tripping," said Flip. "You can mess with whoever you want, but let these people know you walking around this mug with a tattoo of me. The tall dude, [Slim Thug] I ain't gon say his name cause he ain't on my level-he felt like I was talking about him. If I'mma dis you I'mma tell you who it is.

"We reached out, tried to let him know that it wasn't about him," he added. "If I say something about you I'mma stand by it, but if I don't say something I'mma be a man [and] say I ain't say it. I guess he felt since his album ain't gold he wanted to dis me. But where's his album at now."

Interestingly, the Clover G abstained from referring to any of aforementioned artists by name throughout the interview. But Flip says he isn't sweating these other cats, he's more concerned with proving that southern rappers are about more than candy paint and syrup.

"These niggas is trying to say that down south niggas ain't lyricists," Flip explained to SOHH.com. "Just 'cause we don't rap about dope and how big our guns... Every song can't be about crack and dope. Fuck that. Tell some stories. Put some motivational shit out there. Let the kids know it ain't just about selling crack."

According to Flip, his forthcoming double album, I Need Mine, does just that. Aside from the album, he's readying to launch his Clover G Entertainment imprint and will soon star in two movies he wrote, "Pimpin Ain't Easy" and "You Never Know." Flip is also planning the release of his own liquor, Lucky Nites, a Clover G watch line and the Clover G Apparel Limited clothing line.

Lil Flip's I Need Mine, featuring MJG, Nate Dogg, Mannie Fresh and Yukmouth, hits stores December 6th.
