Ich war eben mal auf seiner Website (www.cassidymusic.com) und hab mir die Songs dort angehört. Naja, im Normalfall redet bald niemand mehr von der Lusche: die Stimme ist fad, die Reime sind jenseits der Kotzgrenze, die Hooks kommen abartig nervtötend. Die sollen lieber echte Talente fördern. Was heißt hier 'disqualifizieren'? Und warum 'so langsam'? Ach stimmt ja: 'qualifiziert' ist nur, wer Cassidy etwas abgewinnen kann

das du sein zeug nicht magst, ist ja dein gutes recht, aber so sachen wie "reime sind nah an der kotzgrenze" sind schlicht und ergreifend falsch.

reim und flowtechnisch ist das ding ganz weit vorne.

Also wenn ich mir die Texte zu Liedern wie "AM To PM", "B-Boy Stance", "6 Minutes", C-Bonics" oder "On The Grind" so anschaue, kann ich deine Aussage leider nicht nachvollziehen. Dünn, dünn, dünn - so schlicht und ergreifend falsch ist das leider nicht. Ist doch schön wenn's dir gefällt, aber was die Qualität angeht ist das nur ein kleiner Fisch im weiten Meer...

hättet ihr ihn auf irgendwelchen underground cd-bestell seiten "entdeckt" wäre der typ bestimmt die neue hoffnung der ostküste oderso. aber die diskussion hatten wir ja schon öfter.

Hat hier jemand von Underground- und Non-Underground-Rap geredet? Aber es bleibt eben doch die Argumentation schlechthin - wenn ihr den Chartstürmer meines Herzens nicht gut findet seid ihr doofe Underground-Hörer

technisch gesehen ist er schon gut, aber seine platten sind trotzdem sondermüll

Was soll das heißen, technisch?

ausgefeilte reimschemata, 6-silbige reime oder mehr, nicht immer am ende der zeile, wortspiele, benutzt seine stimme und atemtechnik als rhythmisches instrument und nicht nur um texte zu transportieren, etc.

Gerade die Eigenart, dass er immer dieselben Reime konsequent ans Zeilenende setzt ist mir negativ aufgefallen

Beispiele:

ich hab ja nicht gesagt, dass er das nie tut.gibt auch genug tracks wo er das nicht macht diese methode, dasselbe wort am schluss der line immer zu wiederholen nennt man, denke ich, tagging
