Get ready for the next generation of the Southern underground! 2005 marks the official, national debut for S.L.A.B., Houston's underground legends, featuring TRAE of Guerilla Maab fame. S.L.A.B. has made a name for themselves over the last five years with their hugely successful, underground S.L.A.B. series. The group is spearheaded by TRAE, whose latest release, "Same Thing Different Day" logged several weeks on Billboard Magazine's Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. The group, S.L.A.B. (whose other members include Jay'ton,Boss,and Lil'B) have been featured on all of Trae's releases, as well as releases by Z-Ro, Guerilla Maab, and ABN.
The Anthem contains guest appearances by: Z-Ro,Paul Wall,Bun B of UGK,HAWK,Billy Cook,Mike D, and more. This release also features the production of Q-Stone, who has produced for Trae (Same Thing Different Day,Losing Composure), Z-Ro (Life), Guerilla Maab (Resurrected), and ESG & Slim Thug ("Get Ya Hands Up"), among others.
The Anthem contains two CD's: one regular version and one S.L.A.B.-ed (screwed) version.
