How can you get kicked out of a retail store?
First time was racial in my opinion. He's an older black man, probably 60 years old. The store is in "the ghetto." So as a small white guy entering a hood rap store had him very suspicious of me. While I was browsing music, every 5 minutes he would ask me "What are you looking for young man!?!"
(I was browsing music! lol ) Told him I like rap music from the Southside of Houston and coninuted browsing music. After some time he asked me to leave! Said something like "Look, if you're not going to buy anything, I'm going to have you to leave." He shouted at me, scooted me to the door. I think I argued with him back. Was like "Look man, I'm browsing for music, that's what you do in a music store!"
Maybe he thought I was the law, looking for bootleg mixtapes.
This past week, I asked him to open the K-Rino CD so I can varify if it was a re-issue before I buy it. I said something like "If this is a re-issue I'll buy it." So he knew there was a chance I might not buy it if it was an original release. Turns out it was an re-issue so I wanted to buy it. I come to pay and he doesn't accept credit cards, cash only. He spews his mouth, talking trash "Look man, I opened this for you. Don't give me none of this bullshit about credit cards. We accept cash." He threw me out saying "good bye now, good bye." I would talk back with him and he would say "good bye now, good bye."
I don't typically get wild-up but when people "throw me out."..
I had the money, I was about to pay via a credit card.
So.. I could go back with cash in-hand and purchase the CDs..
Dude needs to pay the $5 - $10/month fee and open a credit card service for his shop.
