Hailing from Fort Worth, Texas, Erotic D. got his start at producing in 1991 putting out "You Must Be Jealous" and "Flowin' With the Rhythm" with the DFW Posse for the Dr. Rock/Fela Fresh Crew album Taking Charge. Soon Erotic became associated with the upcoming Death Row Records (2) label and found common ground with another Texas label-mate The D.O.C. Aside from producing, Erotic also rapped in the short-lived rap group titled Life After Death. Erotic D split from the label with D.O.C., The after it became apparent that the attention of artists such as Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, and Tha Dogg Pound were leaving their talents in the shadows. The two resurfaced in Atlanta, Georgia where they released The D.O.C.'s ill-fated second solo album titled Helter Skelter in 1996 which featured the rapper's raspy damaged vocals still impaired from his car accident that damaged his vocal chords. Shortly afterwards, Erotic formed his own independent label called E-World Entertainment where he helped put out local Texas urban acts as well as his own solo album entitled Beyond 2000. Erotic D teamed up with The D.O.C. once again in 2003 on the album Deuce. Jamal (2) and MC Breed have also enlisted in Erotic's production help in the 90's.

Entertainment will begin to keep you informed of what is going on with our
company, artists, and owner. We are very excited about our future!! There
have been so many changes and new developments that it is impossible to put
them all in one e-mail. I (Erotic-D) would like to thank all of you for your
support throughout my incarceration. It was a difficult time that only made
me stronger and your support showed me how much my music is loved around the
world. I will do my best to make you proud but will also stress that I am an
artist and I will do what comes out of my heart when it comes to my music. I
pray that you understand that and the fact that it will be impossible for me
to please you ALL with every release. However, I will try!!!!! I want us to
grow together and I hope that my experiences, good and bad, will help you to
see that we all face the same challenges in life. I just share mine with the
world. With that being said, anything you may want to know about my 3 years
in prison will be said thru my music. This month I am releasing a new album
titled SLEEPER CELL. It features SIX2, El Dog, U-Jah, and a few other
artists from Texas. In January I will be releasing GAME OVER 2: THE E-WORLD
ORDER. More on that as the release date gets closer. On Halloween night, I
will begin the first recording sessions for an all new solo album. That
session will be an event that is open to the public. Everyone is invited,
fans,artists,producers,groupies, and anyone else we can fit into the
building. I will allow artists to get on the mic to see if they can give me
verses that make me want to feature them on my album. That album will be
released in mid 2012 and it will be the album that I share with you the

Game Over 2 with El Dog (El Dorado)

Word, that’s good. So the first time I had ever heard you was the Helter Skelter album that you did with DOC and you did the entire album. How many joints are in the vault for that album and will we ever be able to hear them?

I don’t know how many I got and I am not even sure if I have the masters to Helter Skelter. There are several different versions of damn near every song on that album, the remixes that I did that never got released, like there is a remix of Return Of The Living Dead that is out there but there is another remix that never got released and it has a video as well.

After the original single started to slow down after being released, MTV suggested that we remix it because people were relating to the original song. That was cool to me because it was not my idea to use the original track anyway. So I did the remix to it and got paid for it, we shot a video for it, and I have a copy of it that I hold on to for dear life.

I have never heard it out in public and I never seen this version on MTV. It’s the same exact video, just not the same track.

Yeah I remember there was the remix that was the B-Side to Return Of The Living Dead and you also had From Ruthless To Death Row B-Side remix as well.

Yeah I love that. I replayed Eric B For President for the Death Row remix and I love it. I might have to drop that, but as far as would people ever hear that out of the vaults, honestly man I am not one of dudes that releases a bunch of material without everyone being in on it. Something like that I would hae to ask DOC, because even though I am in possession of most of these songs, I would not drop them without him being on board.

People have asked me if I am dropping a new version of Helter Skelter, which I would love to, but DOC would have to be in agreement with that. That is the style of my business and I don’t run over people like that.
