Zitat:
SPM “The Son of Norma” Unofficial Songlist
Dear Family,
I’m so late with this letter, and even though I’ve got a lot of good excuses, I’ll just say I’m sorry, and I’ll keep trying my best to do better.
You guys probably know, from my last letter, that I got in trouble at my last unit, Powledge, and I got shipped to another unit called Allred. On Powledge, on April 12th, 2010, I got busted with an MP3 with a digital recorder, video player, e-book, camera, and a few other features. Of course this is something that is not allowed and I’m in deep doo doo right now. Oh, yeah, they also found a hundred dollar bill, which is another thing that is not allowed in prison. So now I’m in High Security Segregation, in a special cell where there’s a camera facing directly at my door. I’m officially the most watched man in the Texas prison system. Not that I’m not flattered, but is it really that big of a deal? But things have been getting better. I’ve been promoted back to level one so I can now get visits every weekend, and I can also go to commissary (a store in prison.) When I first got here I was a “level 3,” which is the worst status you can have. I was locked up next to other level 3 inmates and it was a crazy environment. The worst thing was that dudes was always getting gassed and that gas goes everywhere. I was literally choking on that stuff at least twice a week. But now I’m next to guys who are level ones, and it’s much more civilized. I think if I continue to show good behavior, I’ll get from under this camera and live a little more normally.
Well, tomorrow is “store day” so I’m making out my list. You send your list of stuff you want and they bring it back for you. I got some new tennis shoes, a t-shirt, another typewriter, another radio, and lots of food and snacks. I also got Blueberry Cobbler ice cream and a bunch of bottled water. On level 3 all you can buy is hygiene stuff and writing supplies. So I’m glad I can finally buy whatever I want from commissary. Well, that’s enough of this penitentiary business.
Screwston – “Slow Learner” is complete but the Dope House is working on artwork as well as a marketing plan. There’s supposed to be a free snippet available but I’m not sure when that will be done. Of course “Slow Learner” will be released before “The Son of Norma.” “The S.O.N” still needs tons of editing before it begin to get mixed. (That’s engineer talk.) Yes, “Slow Learner” is a screwed and chopped album, but for those who are not “Screw Heads,” there will be regular version of the album available, so don’t worry. Personally, I’ve got to have all my music screwed and chopped. Even my Garth Brooks and Taylor Swift! What? I don’t look like a Taylor Swift fan?
Last night I was trying to figure out exactly what 17 songs will make up “The Son of Norma.” I’ve got over 50 songs to choose from but I believe I got the perfect 17. Would you like a sneak peak of those titles? Alright, check it out:
“The Son of Norma”
Unofficial Songlist
1.) County Jail Battlerap
2.) Raise My Right

So there it is, the best rap album in the world. And it will be the best until the next SPM album releases, which I believe I’m calling “The Resurrection,” which some of you agreed was a good title.
By the way, would you like to see a sneak peak of “The Resurrection,” which is a 2011 project? Of course these songs are subject to change, but just for the fun of it, let me pick out 17 bad ass songs for that project:
“The Resurrection”
Potential songlist

15.) In The River
16.) The Darkest Author
17.) Jose’s Daughter
There’s a look in the future, but no doubt stuff will change. Hell, I even forgot to put the title track “The Resurrection.” Also, the “County Boys-Telephone Road” album will drop before this album. Man, “Telephone Road” is another bad ass project. It was done on the phone, in the County Jail in Houston, and we had so much fun doing that album. In fact, “County Jail Battlerap” (#1 on “The Son of Norma”) was done during that time in Harris County Jail. I was battlerapping against this guy named K-Love. It was funny because while he was battling me he started talking about my height. But he’s shorter than me! Oh, man, he messed up when he did that. You’ll hear it when the album comes out. Like I said, it’s on “The S.O.N.” Well, let me get to the Forty. Never forget that everything I do is for you, and it don’t stop.
Con Todo Mi Amor,
Los
