Dafür führe ich eine erbitterte Diskussion mit Core Rhythm über den Sinn und Unsinn von digitalen veröffentlichungen weil ich Ihm geschrieben habe dass ich die Scheibe nur kaufen würde wenn er sie auf CD veröffentlicht

Hey trust me if I had the capital I would be saying F CD's, Im pressing vinyl, which is still the best quality (which I probably will do in some form for certain songs for limited tour runs and give a digi dropcard with it) Hell the first run of audiotape or 8 track is better than CD, CD is actually a downgrade itself. Most music is made in 24 bit and has to be compressed to 16, so you are actually hearing a lower quality when you get a compact disc, which is a digital process.
Frankly I am not trying to play the capital game in art anymore, right now all of these "standards" for music are be using as tools to fleece the artist and we end up getting the short end of the stick EVERYTIME. I would rather spend thousands of dollars on high quality mixing and Analog mastering (which I did, my record sounds more analog then most albums pressed CD's) then use a dying format because standards set by those (the recording industry) who have made it difficult for music like mine to get the exposure it deserves. Why pretend to be something I am something I am not? I do not have a record label, I make music form my own pocket of touring, teaching and I frankly I am tired of giving robber barons my money. To me the only necessary thing in music really, is the music! Not the packaging, the video's all that is extra. I would take a digi-download of a dope album made with the blood sweat and tears of an artist anytime over a well packaged album that is frankly okay. Truthfully some of the best music I am hearing are free, poorly packaged and on the net. Why? Cause the meek have been shutout and forced to join the ranks the net pirates. Under the radar and corner cutting so we can survive and make more music. Man to me if artist focused more and music and less on packaging, we would have better music out there...
Hell I can go on forever on this and I thank you for listening to my rant (if you have gotten this far). But I guess unfortunately you won't be hearing what I think to be my very best work to date unless someone with major capital picks up my record. I am also sorry to loose a supporter of my work based on format, but I have to stay steadfast on this choice, so I can keep making music and not spend my life being a salesman of compact discs. Hope you will reconsider, we the hunger artists need all the support we can get...
