Annnnnd... I'm planning to make some new releases. I have 5 different projects that I hope to unveil in this year each with it's own specific intent. Why is that good? Well, for one thing it means more me, and I like me, so I feel that you should like me too. Also, it means that I have an outlet for each of my stupid personalities, musically speaking of course. In other words, people who like the louis who makes silly drinking and fucking songs will get what they want without having to endure what the people who like it when I mix the Beach Boys with the Beastie Boys like. In short, you're all going to get your due.

Yes. It is true that I will be releasing a Spork Kills full length in 2010... however, that does not concern this particular post or this particular profile community because....

I have 3 different louis logic projects in the pipeline.

1. I will be putting out a collection of guest appearance material that I've gathered from my adventures in collaboration with up and coming artists who are lesser known but deserving of greater shine. This collection will include artists from all around the map, some even right next door to you. For this reason, the project will be called louis logic "Me & Everyone You Know". Those of you readers who have actually collaborated with me know what I'm talking about, and now the rest of you do too. If you want to be on the record, learn to rap... really good... then make a song with me.

2. I will put out a new collection in the tradition of Music To Drink By, Debacle In A Bottle, Blame It On The Hooch (& Hooch.2) that will include the non Spork Kills work that has occurred between Misery Loves Comedy's release and now. For those of you who think that "Look Out For Lou" mix floating around online is that very thing... think again. There is more material and I had nothing to do with that mix. Someone who likes my records just had some extra time on their hands. It was nice of them, and I am grateful for the attention but I'll take it from here and share some stuff that no one else has access to.

3. I am working diligently on my first all new studio effort for the louis logic catalogue in more than 3 years. Since I now have an outlet for my other musical tastes, I am making this record in the tradition of my earlier work. Everyone can stop saying that I quit rapping to make Spork Kills, or to sing, drink, fuck or whatever strange theory is floating around out there to explain how and why I'll never make another rap record. I still enjoy rapping very much and I plan to show that to you before this year is out. The fun part is that you get to decide for yourself whether or not I'm still good at it.

This brings me to the last bit of news and the primary reason I am blathering on. I am planning a US Tour that will route from NY as far west as Arizona and will, at long last, include some Mid West stops. I will be traveling with a favorite of mine, the mc Type from Seattle, whose fantastic "Man Crush (No Homo)" video by Griff J & Craig Packard and collection of kooky comedy songs are finally starting to garner the attention I have always known they deserved.
so... stay tuned. i will be sharing more details, more regularly and i will begin putting more material on the profile player in preparation for all of this.

i will also have a NEW louis logic title available on CD by the time of the tour. it's not the new studio album that it's in progress, although i will be playing a few songs from the new album live to give you an idea of what's in store. the new CD will be a new catalogue release which features collaboration songs and some other exclusives. i'm super excited to share it. i plan to post sneak previews and artwork in the next week or so. see you soon.
