They say it’s all about timing -- being in the right place at the right time -- and it seems Kida is always exactly that. Whether behind the mic or just going through his day to day, Kida's timing has led him to dealing alongside such elite names as Focus (Aftermath Producer), Dame Dash, Suge Knight, and even Shaquille O'Neal.

Kida is getting respect coast to coast for his improbable skills -- but obviously, a very humble cat, he hasn't seemed to let it go to his head as he recognizes everyone involved in the making of his upcoming mixtape, The Endemic, as well as his forthcoming LP, The Epidemic, both slated to be released this year.

And for a lil' interesting twist to this interview, Aftermath producer, Focus…, even weighed in on Kida at the end of this Dubcnn exclusive (Oh yeah, and don't think we didn't ask him that lingering Detox question). So, read on, Comrades...

Today, we are sitting down with buzzing artist, Carlito Rossi, for this exclusive Dubcnn interview. Carlito has the streets talking about his hot new singles “Hater in the Club” featuring the illustrious D12 and “Ain’t No Tellin” featuring Shady Record’s very own, Ca$his.

With his highly-anticipated mixtape with Ca$his approaching, titled DJ Vlad Presents: The Usual Suspects Vol. 1 Carlito Rossi is hard at work with artists such as Roccet, Paul Wall, Freeway, Nu Jerzey Devil, DJ Khaled and DJ Enuff, just to name a few… so we just had to find out what he’s all about.

(On a side note, the recession doesn’t seem to be affecting this rapper’s paper much, as he’s seen riding around town in his Lamborghini Gallardo…nice.)

Dubbed “The Dr.’s Apprentice”, Dawaun Parker has been Dr. Dre’s right-hand man on joints for everyone from Jay-Z, Busta Rhymes and 50 Cent to Eminem, Young Buck and Game. You’ve surely heard his talents on songs like Higher, 30 Something, Don’t Get Carried Away and so many others. Dawaun Parker sat down with Dubcnn once again for an exclusive interview.

This time around, Chad Kiser & Jon Hay talk with Dawaun about some of the current topics surrounding the Aftermath family, such as Stat Quo’s declaration that he’ll release 300 songs he did while at the label, DJ Quik’s proclamation that Dr. Dre has been getting piano lessons from the great Burt Bacharach, as well as how the loss of a son has affected the good Doctor as it relates to working on his projects.

Of course, we do the Detox talk, but we also get a bit more insight on his project, The GodBody, and we get a few updates on that. We talk about his musical background, the instruments of choice, and ultimately, his reason for making music. We go deep into the mind of this gifted producer, who will undoubtedly soon shed “The Dr.’s Apprentice” moniker for a more masterful soubriquet.
