Naptron was born in the Bed-Stuy section of Brooklyn. Growing up in Marcy Projects, Home to CEO/Rapper Jay-Z, Memphis Bleek, & Sauce Money, is where this young rapper would make his mark in the underground hip hop scene. Naptron has been fascinated by music since his early years. His interest quickly turned into passion as he began writing rhymes and participating in freestyle battles around the city and where he grew up. He was introduced to the game in his early teens by his neighbor who was in a group called ATM (Accessory to Murder) and the Nappy Pack during this period he would learn to master his craft. Not long after that Naptron hooked up with Supernatural, Phoenix Orion aka Zoundwavez, Orion South, Darkzeied, Cosmic Ray, Scattertongue, Et Cetera, and Elo to form the group known as “Alien Nation” With releases under both Pallas Records and Celestial Recordings, Naptron would move on to team up with “Open Mic” & “Apathy” of The Demi-Gods and Canadian female emcee Eternia (aka Mothership) to develop a fresh new underground style. Naptron the Meta Predator aka MetaTron, best known for his futuristic, metaphoric, verbalizations, demonstrated on his underground release “Afekz of Metatron” has featured alongside fellow artists such as St. Mark 9:23, Abstract Rude, Mikah 9 & P.E.A.C.E. of the Freestyle Fellowship, TC Izlam, Zulu Nation, & Hip/Step Massive Crew. He has been apart of the LA’s underground hip hop movement “Project Blowed” Established in 1984 by Ben Caldwell, and Kaos Network. He has worked with Producers Hive, Daddy Kev, Fat Jack, & Elusive. Through these associations Naptron would go on to Release “Afekz of Metatron”, Naptron Unleashed, Styles of Madness and his hit singles "Put Your Hands Up" featuring Raven Steele and "Transmitting" with the Freestyle Fanatic and teammate Supernatural. Both released by Funk La Planet. With all the mentioned associations Naptron released an array of songs opening an underground Bi- coastal fan base. Naptron has featured in an on-air freestyle, recorded on Sway and King Tech's Wake up Show, the West Coast's most-listened-to hip hop show. This sensational ten-minute freestyle session featured Naptron, Supernatural, and Peace. The session made its way to cd in Sway & King Tech's Wake up Show Freestyles, courtesy of 880 Records and Nu Gruv Alliance. It is said that this freestyle collaboration between Naptron, Supernatural, and Peace represents another volume in Sway and Tech’s history of hip hop over the last decade. Through his association with B-Deffe of Funk La Planet, Naptron made his way overseas to collaborate with French Artist Rockin Squat and Producer Nero in Paris, He also featured on “Illegal Mixtape” and “Libre”. After a long powerful run in the underground Naptron decided it was time to touch the commercial market. After retaining Aries-Gem Mgmt. Naptron found himself sharing the stage with Smoothe da Hustler, Trigger the Gambler and DV alias Khryst. The team toured in Germany where they brought their sound to a packed stadium of screaming fans. Naptron went on to perform in NY & L.A. Flying back and forth, performing in locations such as the Concrete Jungle, CBGB and Planet 28. . He has also been on the Brooklyn access channel "BCAT" performing on shows like “Nyce n Ruff”, which was hosted by Carmel & Boogie. Following the release of “Sic Symphony” featuring DV alias Khryst & Retsam, along with Cyphus France on the B- side through Celestial Recordings, Naptron decided it was time to make a change. He evolved his style into what it has become today. Currently Naptron is working on his third album, making hit after hit and adding to his catalogue. Due to a high demand Naptron is working on the re-mastering & re-release of his underground smash "AFEKZ of METATRON" With all this in the arsenal, Naptron is a clear and present danger to the hip hop world. His Versatility, Style, & delivery will sure to be welcomed by the Hip Hop mainstream.
