runnin was originally recorded for thug life's album. this version has a unique male reggae hook and slight lyric differences. most remarkably it features the resurrection verse. police references are uncensored.

runnin was later re-recorded by everyone but biggie for a matw release. this features a female reggae hook. police references are uncensored.

the track was finally released on promo cd and on one million strong in 1995 with a third version of the hooks, performed by a male reggae artist. police references are censored in all single and album versions.

trapp remixed it (very slightly) and also created an r& b version. in 1998 stonebridge remixed runnin, adding female singing hooks. police references are uncensored and censored on different mixes.

also in 1998, booty records released singles for runnin, making a shorter version of the track as stonebridge did. this track has the same male hooks as one million strong. police references are uncensored.

As promised, I am back on today to give you the latest breaking and REAL news concerning the 2Pac and Mark Morrison collaboration you are expected to hear within the next month or so.

Many mistake Mark Morrison as being born and bred in the United Kingdom. Many dont actually know he was raised in Miami USA and even graduated High School in Florida. He lived in the states for most of the 90's. His mother still has a house out there.

This is where and how he met 2Pac Shakur. As many of you now know Mark Morrison is bringing out a 'Greatest Hits' album soon (expected April/May 2008) and as well as a new Dance Remix of the song 'Return Of The Mack' on there, we are expected to see the late great 2Pac Shakur's collabo with Mark Morrison in the form of a Bonus Track.

Yes - the album will be released worldwide, however, due to the possibility of Afeni Shakur and Amaru Entertainment not allowing 2Pac on the album, even though they actually recorded the song together and its Mark Morrison's song, they are aiming to include the song as a Bonus cut for the United Kingdom release of the album ONLY.

The song featuring 2Pac is called: 'Ghetto'

And was recorded in MAY 1996 at Mark Morrison's home recording studio 6 weeks after 'Return Of The Mack' reached number 1 in the UK Charts.
The Greatest hits album is being mastered next week at 5A Studios West London, and they are waiting on 2 clearences-
1. A sample clearence for one of the songs on there.
2. The Tupac Shakur clearence

Unfortuntely I am not allowed to give you the lyrics of the song, yet, however just reading through them it has got me hyped and is making me think its one of those classic 2Pac collabo songs that seemed to get the best out of him.

Infact, the following words spat by 2Pac in the song made my dick tingle-"Like the Mack, It's the return of Pac"

I am just waiting to hear back from my source, the guy putting it together, if it is the original beat used or a remixed beat on the release.

As mentioned, it is being mastered next week. I should recieve a hard copy in the post within the next 2 weeks and will update you Mark and 2Pac fans as it comes.

Ok. We have already blessed you fans today with the news of the Mark Morrison & 2Pac Unheard song due for release later this year on Mark's Greatest Hits album.

Before I get on to the 'New' unheard I want to talk about here and let you fans know about. I want to discuss the unheard song 'Tribulationz'.

Yes we know its a E40 song Feat Pac. Its common fault and misleading that has made fans think its not worth tracking down as 2Pac only has an outro on it, thats not true. 2Pac actually has a verse on this song. The problem is you guys have been mislead with what radio station it was played on. Find out the right station and you might find it easier to track down?

Back to the topic and UNHEARD song at matter.

Whilst on Deathrow Records, 2Pac met with Mark Morrison and loved his work so much that he recorded 2 songs with him and sampled 1 of Mark Morrison's songs!

2Pac has an unheard Deathrow Records song titled: Candy

I should re-word that. 2pac is featured on the song.
The song is actually '12 Guage'(s) (Southern Rapper/Underground MC).

A song titled 'Candy' you cant have just 2 males on it, so, on the hook is Deathrow fan fave 'Jewell'.

Presenting the long awaited OG bootleg reissue set, entitled 2Pac: Evolution. This set represents a history of tracks that have leaked from late 1996 up through today, all in exceptional sources and quality. The mission of this project is not to offer the "best" remasters (a subjective assessment based on one's own preferences and hinging upon the technology of the day), 2Pac: Evolution is designed to present to you every available leaked song without all of the generational re-encoding and editing that continues even today. Listen to each song knowing that it’s from the source, and not a bootleg of a bootleg of a bootleg.

In light of the recent posting of court documents showing how 2pac's music inventory was cataloged and stored at Death Row, we have re-constructed the four DAT tapes as possible. Interestingly most of that content came to us in that same order. In subsequent discs we have worked hard to create logical tracklistings, and kept related songs (both in terms of how and when we obtained them and in regard to playback quality) together either within tracklists or as individual discs. Organizationally the set makes a lot of sense, and again, the quality of even the worst sounding tape rips is night and day better than what’s available on youtube, imeem, or most forums. It is noteworthy that we have made effort not to overlap this project onto past projects too much, so for a fully complete set the end user will have to purchase or already own the Thug Life Demo, Paper N Pen, Free 2Pac and Sessions releases. This project ships in a very professional 12-disc capacity hard plastic shelled case, full color covers, and thermal pressed discs (these are not CD-Rs with Sharpie writing on them).

We have worked very hard to ensure this set is as complete as possible, and new-coming and long-time collectors alike can buy the set and know that they have the original material before it was degraded, shortened, or otherwise altered. There are many treats tucked away in the set, such as the original tape rip of Friends - which all other versions came from. This definitive set truly reflects Pac’s evolution as an artist and his prolific nature in producing 12 discs worth of non-retail material. over 12 pages im too lazy to search but why dont they sell the project onto DVD instead of CD?

got more space, most ppl got a dvd player at home (and probably connected to their hifi-system). dont you think the cost of production would be lower when you just need two DVDs and not twelve CDs and covers?

just a normal question and not to attack the project in anyway.

We went back and forth on DVD VS CD and decided the best way to present this fabulous project would be via a box set. Our mission was to give this an official/authentic feel we didn't feel we'd achieve this via the DVD route. Surprisingly enough the production cost going either route wasn't too much of a difference for us to be swayed one way or the other, it just didn't factor in.
