Are most rap buying fans in Germany who buy Bay Area music more likely to lean towards Reality Rap such as Jacka of The Mob Figaz or rappers with a Horrorcore type of vibe to their music?

I think the Horrorcoredevotees are in the minority over here. Most of em listen to that new bay stuff and the old mobb funk joints.

I think that horrorcore is rather an internet phenomenon. But to be honest with you: I don't know too much rappers from the Bay that are into making any horror-kind-of-stuff... why were you asking?

We have the Pola Bear "Arctic Circle" Cd in our catalog and while recording what was suupposed to be a Steet/Norteno (like WOODIE, Dark Room Familia, Never, Lowdown and Ect) album, half way through the recording he started recording song that were Horrocore/Acid Rap (thats all he does now).
We sell most of the units to Germany and Denmark. We have also been getting alot of Downloads of the Horrorcore songs. Most of our reviews come from Germany and Denmark and they only comment on the Horrorcore songs. The cds that we sell in Northern California are to mostly Nortenos and if you see any U.S. reviews they speak highly about the Street/Norteno songs.
My thing is that if we sell most of our units on the album to Germany, I was thinking about reaching out to fans in Germany and having them hand out Flyers and Hang Up Posters, but if the market there isn't that storng and the sales are mostly based off of the Internet, it isn't worth the Postage Costs.

THANK YOU for your reply.

No, forget about it, you would just waste your money. Just concentrate on online promotion... ;)

the only "horrorcore" i listen to is insane poetry (west) and the 1st gravediggaz (east).

like the others wrote when you talking about the bay the focus is mostly on reality stuff here in germany. and you can easily reach them horrorcore fans out there through the i-net.

That Bay Area Mobb Style music is by far my favorite! I love horrorcore, but I slap that mobb shit everyday!
