Born and raised in the notorious and historical Queensbridge Houses, Sha-Lumi has had a front row seat to the evolution of Hip Hop since day one. While being inspired by some of Hip Hops’ most influencial pioneers, including Marley Marl, MC Shan, and Biz Markie, Sha has maintained to create a flavor of his very own. Sha first began his career in Hip Hop as a DJ and producer for a group called The Super Kids. The group consisted of himself, Craig G., and Tragedy. Their only release was a 12” single on Nia Records in 1986 called “The Tragedy (Don’t Do It)”. Unfortunately, the group later separated. Sha kept focused and began to DJ for the infamous Mobb Deep. This was when the world tours began! In the midst of shopping the Killa Kidz material to various record labels Sha was reunited with his old mentor, Tragedy. This reunion proved to be crucial since Sha was to be featured on 5 songs on Tragedy’s “Against All Odds” LP. If he didnt have enough on his plate already with the rapping, DJing, and producing, in 2000 Killa Sha joined forces with famed NYC radio personality Stretch Armstrong to host The Extra Large Radio Show on Hot 97 (W.Q.H.T.). He also went on to host shows worldwide with Stretch in Japan, Austria, France, and Germany. Over the past few years Sha has been aggressively building his collection of solo material. He has blazed tracks produced by the likes of Alchemist, Marley Marl, Ayatollah, and Sha Money XL, for starters. He also has done freestyles for mixtape DJs such as Kay Slay, Green Lantern, Whoo Kid, Camilo, DJ Peter Parker, and Cut Master C, to name a few. All of this has been great preparation for his long awaited solo album which is finally ready. Traffic Entertainment Group and Money Maker proudly presents Killa Sha “God Walk On Water” featuring Large Professor, Tragedy Khadafi, Havoc from Mobb Deep, Trife Da God, Ayatolla, ILL Bill from Non Phixion and La Coka Nostra & more! It’s that old QB street knowledge and thun language that made him a street legend. Study your lessons!
