...some of y'all make me, man... Look, I'm one of the easiest accessible producers/artists out there, in fact... I pride myself on the fact that many of my listeners have direct ways of getting in touch with me, MySpace being one of them. And yes, that is me answering your message, in between studiowork and/or business dealings. I mean, unlike a lot of other artists, I actually give a shit and so do the people that I work with. But we need to get some things straight:
-"You never replied to my message!" or "You never let me know what you think of our track!" or "You never left me a comment back!"
During an average week, I get around a 100 messages at the very least, and don't get me wrong: I love getting them. But, that's on top of the 55 pages of messages that I am behind on. I tried to answer most of them, but obviously sometimes it's nothing but a waterdrop on a hot plate. Please don't send me a SECOND message to complain about not getting a reply on your FIRST message, or about me not checking out your track or remix soon enough to your liking. That rubs me the wrong way, player.... and I don't like to be rubbed the wrong way... which means... DEEEEELETE. So... I'll get to it when I get to it, cool?
-"Yo, this is (so-and-so from such-and-such)... can you leave a comment on my cousin's page telling her Such-and-such says what's up?" or "Yo, can you call my man Such-as-such 'cause he's nice on the beats but he can't figure out basslines and he needs you to help him on the way?" or "Yo, you got a live interview tomorrow on German radio, can you shout out Such-an-such and say [insert German sentence here]?"
Dude... nooooo can do! You understand that you are way out of line with a question like that, right? Erniehoooo, keep sending those messages because I love hearing from y'all, but please... be patient. I'm trying, allright?
