Doyen Deezal is a self made man; Entertainer, Entrepreneur, Label Owner, Ghost-Writer, Journalist, Industry Hustler and Northern UK Hip Hop Pioneer. Hailing from Sheffield Steel City, Great Britain; Deezal made his first rap record in 1994 with the infamous Manchester based 'Ruf-Beats' label. His 13 year career has given Doyen the opportunity to collaborate with a great number of Homegrown and International artists, including; K-Rino, Mr Sche, Red Head Steve, Mo-X & Lil G, Wolftown, Junior Disprol, Irocc, C-Mone, Scorsayzee (Out Da Ville), Zagg (Siccmade), E-Moe, D-Dubb, Tommy Evans, Usmaan, Evil Ed, Secondson, Young Droop, Iron Bridge, Cappo, Hoodz Underground, Alex Blood, Dutt Beezy and others...Many of Doyen's independant releases have been granted coveted airplay from the Radio 1 and 1Xtra DJ's as well as being awarded 'Single Of The Month' from major magazines such as DJ Mag, IDJ, Mixmag, Blues & Soul, Knowledge, Undercover, and The Face.
Street Legal Music the record label was built in 2002 on the back of Doyen's own reputation as a consistant artist and experienced professional. The support and acceptance by the larger music industry world's of mainstream distribution and high street retail has been a testament to the quality and originality of the music released through SLM.
The audio featured on this page is from the 2006 Street Legal Music Presents; Furnace Hill Klick album. FHK are a group consisting of Doyen-D and accomplished producer Supra. Creatively the album is an attempt to push the boundaries of traditional formulated UK Hip Hop by adding a distinctive urban feel through solid Grimy beats and brutal street wise lyrics.
