Beautiful Latino R&B/Pop sensation and former Houston Rockets dancer, Natalie has teamed up with Texas hip-hop legend rap artist Bun B (King of the Trill) for a track off her upcoming album titled ‘Everything New’ with a release date of August 22, 2006.

The track with hip-hop legend Bun B is called ‘What You Gonna Do’ and features production by another hip-hop notable Play N’ Skillz (Chamillionaire’s “Ridin”).

After the success of her #1 single “Goin’ Crazy” and its subsequent album, Natalie, in 2005, the 27 year old Houston native shows no signs of letting up with her sophomore album, ‘Everything New’ (Universal Republic).

In the wake of her melodious debut, the beautiful, sweet voiced Latina superstar is prepping to give her fans even more of herself. “As an artist you learn a lot after your first round,” reflects Natalie. “My last album was a more R&B feel, more midtempo. This album, it’s a lot more energetic, it’s a lot more mature. It’s got a more sexy vibe to it, it’s about being in the club, it’s about dancing, it’s about getting with somebody but I still kept it relatable to the people.”

The album’s hypnotizing and seductive lead single is produced by highly sought after production hip-hop duo Play N Skillz (Chamillionaire “Ridin’”) and features Texas hip-hop legend rapper Bun B. “The minute I heard the track come on with the screwed ‘What ya gonna do…’ I was like, ‘I want it’,” says the sultry voiced singer.

The Pop meets Rap combo may seem awkward on paper but Natalie feels right at home on the track since she actually got her start in Houston’s red-hot Hip-Hop scene. She initially had dreams of moving to Los Angeles to become a choreographer and was well on her way since she was a dancer with the NBA’s Houston Rockets. But her talent at freestyle rapping led to her developing such an underground following in local rap circles that she actually signed to her management company, Latium Entertainment, as a rapper before her singing on hooks took on a life of it’s own.

“‘Goin’ Crazy’ was my first full singing song,” remembers Natalie. “That’s why it has that rap [like] monologue going on. I always wanted to write songs.”

Though she only started singing full time a few years ago, she’s already accomplished enough as a songwriter to have scored a publishing deal with EMI Publishing. It’s just one of the things that separates her from the crowded pack of Pop divas in the world.

“A lot of times artists have to be formed,” offers Natalie. “I’m still growing myself as an artist. I didn’t have to be shaped into who I am or the artist that I’m becoming.”

Natalie is as equally inspired by her family as she is local musicians made good like Beyonce and Chamillionaire to legends like Michael and Janet Jackson, Madonna and “anybody who incorporated dancing with their singing,” she says because, “Those are artists, and that’s why they’re still around today.”

The eclectic mix of musical influences manifests in the diverse collection of songs listeners are privy to hear on Everything New. The soothing ballad “All My Life”, an intimate look at love in sound, and the exotic “Pieces” are built around seductive guitar riffs. Meanwhile, uptempo numbers like the hyper “Dance With Me” and the club ready “If You Only Knew’ are surefire dance floor delights.

“I called the album Everything New because I think everything worked the first time because it was meant to happen that way,” explains Natalie. “It was a good intro but now what I’m about to do-the music that I’ve always been making-is about to sound new to the public. You always have to come with something better.”

After years of building his own empire in the Bay Area, San Francisco native Sky Balla joined forces with New York-based Empire City Records in 2005 to get his music to the nation. The venture is already proving to be a major move for Sky Balla, as he is on the verge of releasing his first project with the label, Lifestyles of the Hoodrich & Famous.

"The situation is a beautiful thing, and I'm going to maximize the situation to the fullest capacity," he says. Eazy-E's Latino Proteges To Release Sophomore Album

The late Eazy-E's sole Latino proteges, The Brownside, have just released their second album, "The Takeover." Their first album, "Eastside Drama," issued in 1995, had been slated for release through Eazy-E’s Ruthless label, until the Compton rapper’s tragic death ended a solid paper trail of release agreements that had been signed between himself and the intensely street oriented gangsta rappers.

Finally returning with “The Takeover,” The Brownside is back again with real life street cred, history and tracks that have helped give them their often verified, authentic “la vida gangsta” reputation.

The Brownside members are Wicked, Trouble and Toker, who is currently serving time for a sentence in a federal prison. “I expect to be out of here by the end of next year,” he promises. In the meantime, however, his album speaks volumes for him.

Eazy’s son, Lil E, still has memories of his father’s close friend Toker, from when they escorted the ten-year old mini E around Disneyland. “I can’t wait to see Lil E when I am out of here,” says Toker, who adds, “I have a lot to tell him about his father.” Eazy-E and Toker were such a fixture, that in Jerry Heller’s upcoming book, “Ruthless,” slated for release in late August, Heller begins describing the end of Eric’s life by writing, “Only a handful of people were closest to Eric in the weeks leading up to his death. Toker, aka Little Beaver, his Latino street connection. The mixmaster Julio G.” Heller also cites The Brownside in relation to Eric’s both visionary and deep desire to become involved in the Latin rap movement, a move that was unfortunately nixed because of his death.

Wicked explains, “Toker and Eazy were blood brothers.” He adds, “Eazy was so supportive of us, he kept trying to talk us into changing the name of the group to M.W.A., but we never did. He was relentless about it. He even wrote these little notes in the studio, trying to convince us.” He observes, “Eric was really looking forward to releasing our group on Ruthless, and we played some dates with Eazy and Bone Thugs-N-Harmony.” Wicked points to “La Despendida (Farewell)” as his favorite track on the group’s second album, which is released by P.R. Records. As fate would have it, Trouble and Toker originally met in prison. Toker has stated, “We’re not rappers trying to be gangstas, we’re gangstas trying to be rappers.”

With songs on “The Takeover” like “Life Of A G,” “Who We Are” and It Ain’t Easy” The Brownside stays true to their roots that made Eazy-E take notice. Trouble reports, “We are representing Southside L.A., also known as “The Skanless. But we know that a lot of other people are relating to the album, as well.” Wicked notes, “Toker brings the high life from the street, Trouble brings the drama from on street, and I bring my own experience from the street.” This virtual coup d’eta can be heard throughout “The Takeover” on its relentless songs that are pure fiya, including “Standing By Your Grave,” “It’s All Good” and the album’s standout track, “Growin’ Up.”

On “The Takeover,” The Brownside proves they are still the ultimate Vatos En El Barrio, as they release their explosive new rhymes about their experiences in “The City Of Bangers.”

Da Black Al Capone is the man who regulates for the Clover G Spearheaded by Lil' Flip. Departing his hometown of NYC to indulge in random cross-country hustles, Capone learned how to grind in all regions. After opening his Starvin' Artists Record Store in Little Rock, AK, Capone got a look at the game from a retailer's standpoint. It also led to his partnership with Houston's Finest. "Flip took notice to the amount of his albums i was moving out of my store," Capone recalls, "and I took notice of people buying the boss' album as an independant." Eventually, it was the entrepreneurial hustle that would lead Capone into rapping. After playing the background for a number of years on the business side, he is ready to step out and let the world know his story and his extraordinary Mic Skills. " I can rap with any style," he boasts. With appearances on Flip and Z-Ro's underground album Kings of the South already under his belt Capone is gearing up for his own Solo Album effort that is destined to be a classic. Also take note of Da Black Al Capone in Beef III as shown on BET as he handles T.I. and show's him who's the real Notorious Unda boss.

The album hits stores this fall with features from Z-Ro, Lil Flip, Chamillionaire, Yukmouth, Kingpin Skinny Pimp, Sqad Up, West Coast Mafia, Crime Boss, C-Note Of The Botany Boys, and Clover Gz.
