HIER MAL 'NEN KLEINES ZITAT, DAS ICH AUSGRABEN KONNTE:
"I personally recommend this group. They are an upcoming group that will contribute to the Chicago Hip Hop canon. Utilizing clever rhymes to critique/challenge the current dreck in Hip Hop, they raise the watermark for the suckers to reply. I don't want to put them in a category, because they cover many topics, but if you like Sage Francis, Atmosphere, Typical Cats, then this is for you.

Somewhere Outside Consciousness is a two man crew from Chicago, originally formed in 1996 with several other MC's. Currently, Sylph and Illicit are the only remaining two left. Upon finding themselves incredibly bored, and with way too much free time on their hands, these two have molded together and formed what can only be described as an "over worded and pretenscious" group. Ha Ha, we're just kidding. We don't say that about ourselves, thats just everyone else. Really. We're not that bad. We might be a little mean but, hey, wait, come back here. Wait, we'll sing N'Sync for you...STOP RUNNING AWAY...we've got good voices, we really do...
So far, we've put down the drugs and alcohol long enough to record two full albums; Stream Of Consciousness and Liquid Paper: The White Out. Currently we're getting ready to release the follow up to Liquid Paper, entitled Soft. This one should actually be worth listening to, as it will be manufactured professionally and have superior sound quality.
