Esham Show Reviews von Phil313 (www.Acidrap.com)
"Tired as fuck ya'll but I got a big one coming!

First off fucking Andre Rison was in the house. Yes he was in his Atlanta throw back gear showing E mad love. I caught him hitting up the VIP room and I also caught him flowing to Es shit......FUCKING LOVELY!!

When Esham performed that "Gettin Mail" track off of Flowers and spelled out J - A - Y the mutha fucka came out with his hands raised to the sky and made my trip complete. He was sporting that Esham shirt that Murdoc has in his sig with E in the flames. This shit put closure on nearly 10 years of me and many others wondering if he would return. We all wondered if James and E was still down and would they reunite in the studio and on stage? Well our questions have been answered. Deadboy is back. He started high fivin peeps and everyone went nuts. It was so unbelievable to see this shit. James stood on the stage the entire time interacting with the crowd and flowing to Es shit and just smiling like a mo fo. I went up and got a handshake and love while E was rippin it. E ripped it on a circular stage surrounded by fans in a big way. It was a hype crowd and E's old chubby ass held up pretty dam good tonight. The show was by far the best in a long while. Other than a couple glitches, it was very nice and most all the tracks were hype.

I got 2 mintutes with James tonight and I spent the first telling him to visit Acid Rap and show some love. I pleaded to him that we support the shit out of him and he needs to check this site out. He loved hearing it and smiled and gave me a close up shake and I am not even sure he has a computer.........LOL

The rest of the conversation was about the new shit. I said are you working on it. He replied "yes, we been in the studio for a bit" and smiled again. The cat was in one helluva good mood and most definetely glad to be back on that RLP scene..........

Keep an eye out for the entire review tomorrow sometime."

I jumped in the ride and headed to Flint on my own. I stopped by Shemy's to get his promo packs and moved on. On my way there I stopped by a Rite Aid and the chic there did not even know what an ATM was......LOL So I continued on to 7-11 to get my loot. I got to the club and to my suprise it was in the burbs. It was an old strip mall. It was about the size of St Andrews minus the upper level. I observed a streched out Excursion looking suspicious.

I entered the club and met up with the promoter to get this Shemy thing off. The dude at the door asked me if I would like to see the Beasties perform there since they are looking to book them next.....DAYUM Hell yes I said. I then entered and bought my picture and grabbed a table.

The stage was one that extended out into the crowd and the crowd could circle. This was tight but the overall feel of the club was so so. The sound was not the best but not the worst either.

The acts were the Bullpen out of Flint. They were a chanting hype type of group. THey were decent. Latha Brain was also a hype band out of Flint doing some weed shit. There were 2 rock bands that did some ICP covers like "What". I enjoyed pretty much everyone a little bit.

This club actually played Esham during the breaks and that was a first for me. I heard a remix or Chicken Huntin with the Dr Dre Cali beat ?

I spotted Rison early and he looked to be with his brother and some friends. His brother was sporting the Rison jersey. They were hyped as they bounced to the early Esham cuts being played. It was a tremendous sight to say the least.

I was the only cat reppin some old school shit. I had the original cap signed by E on the bottomside of the bill. The crowd was full of nice ass bitched and about 300-400 deep I believe. Not huge but VERY hype to say the least. They were chanting Esham all night and that was tight.

When Esham and the crew showed up around 11pm the promoter and his camera crew bum rushed the VIP room in the rear of the club. What was weird about this club was Esham had to enter from the front door to get to the stage because it was on that side. He did it with the help of some body guards. But back to the VIP room. Every bitch in the place was free to go back as long as they were invited and all of them fine honeys went in. Most of them came out saying shit like "I met Esham he he". I heard because I was right by the isle. Andre Rison was quick to go back and that was dopeness.

Esham came out in entire Piston gear at 12:45 am and was with TNT who was in dred and an army looking jump suit. His set was 45 minutes long and for the most part very hyped. It need some Boomin shit or more old shit though. The crowd hype and stage made up for any complaints. They played the following tracks in this order:

TeLLy Salvalas after a dope intro beat and alot of smoke and effects.
Commerica
Woo Woo Woo
A Break Beat and Chant
Charlie Manson
Gettin Mail (track title?) James was introduced and HYPED!!
Mr Negativity
Flint Town Chant and Hype
Midnight Hour
Sunshine
Break "Party over here fuck you over there"
Migrane Headache
Boom
Slug From A 45
Detroit
Boss Up (loudest crowd cheer)
Boss Up chant
E left on a dope beat

I might have missed one or two but I tried to capture all this."

:D
