Lil Flip Presents Chauncey Clyde - Be That Boy...



The artist Chauncey Clyde is one of the hottest most talked about rappers coming out of the MidWest and making major moves nation wide courtesy of multi platinum rap artist Lil' Flip , who is presenting Chauncey Clyde's forth coming album "Be That Boy" all production done by Kilo for MuzicMan Entertainment. Chauncey Clyde has worked with some major industry players such as Lil' Flip/T-Pain/Chingo Bling and Young Bleed (Former No Limit Artist) to name a few. New Lil' Flip Album Finally Due In March

After months of delays and protracted negotiations to get him off Columbia/Sony Urban, Lil Flip will finally release his next album, "I Need Mine," March 27 via Asylum. The Houston rapper joined hometown colleagues Mike Jones, Paul Wall and Pimp C on the label's roster last summer.

"I Need Mine" was originally due in June 2007 via Sony but was scuttled after it leaked online. The set features guest appearances by Lyfe Jennings ("Ghetto Mindstate (Can't Get Far Away)"), Big Pokey and Lil' Keke ("Starched & Cleaned"), Nate Dogg ("Take You There") and Mannie Fresh ("What It Do"), among many others...


Lil' Flip previously told Billboard things started to sour with Sony during the run of his last album, "You Gotta Feel Me." Though the set sold more than 1 million copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan, Flip felt it deserved a more robust promotional campaign.

"Everybody wanted to sign me and I had fans," he said. "With that type of ammunition, Sony was able to take me to platinum with barely any promotion. I had two videos and went over platinum. Most rappers need three to four videos to go platinum. Imagine if someone was really behind me. At this point in my career I can't settle for part of a promotional campaign, and Sony would not give me 100%."

die platte wird keine erfolg obwohl sie recht geil ist...die gibts ja schon seit fast nem jahr als SE. werdse mir trotzdem für die sammlung holen nach einem monat wennse nur noch paar cent kostet.

Auf der Scheibe werden aber denk ich auch einige neue Tracks sein, er wird bestimmt nicht nur das alte Zeug was auf dem leak drauf war raushauen.

Aber Latte, ich kann Flip eh nicht mehr so gut leiden, die Stimme von ihm hat sich auch irgendwie verändert.............

The Leprechaun" gehört aber auf jedenefall immer noch zu meinen Top Texas Alben

Der "I Need Mine" Sony-Release war recht gut gelungen. Hoffe doch mal, dass die Tracklist des Asylum-Releases ein wenig durchgemischt wird. Dann könnts zweifelsohne was werden.

Cool das er es etwas geändert doch noch droppt, fand es eigentlich ganz cool und hab auch bock auf ein neues Flip Album!!!
