The fastest-growing independent record label in the United States, also known as the house to have raised and developed platinum selling Hip-Hop artists Mike Jones, Slim Thug and Paul Wall announced today the label's plans for the 4th quarter. The label is ready and set to end the year with multiple achievements. The first of four releases will begin in mid-October with Michael "5000" Watts, The Day Hell Broke Loose III, a compilation CD with Paul Wall, Lil KeKe, Archie Lee, Coota Bang, Ms. Crystal and an all-star line up of features, followed by a November 2006 release of Lil KeKe's Loved By Few Hated By Many. The four-pronged success behind SWISHAHOUSE/SWISHABLAST are CEO's Michael "5000" Watts and his business partner G-Dash, T.Farris, President of A&R and Michael Clarke Senior VP of Marketing and Promotions. Even with big deals with major labels helping their vision come to fruition, SWISHAHOUSE/SWISHABLAST still operates as an independent entity thanks to the four minds behind this powerhouse. "We have a proven track record. I've always said that no matter how big we get, we're going to continue to treat this as if we didn't have a deal," explains G-Dash. And that is key in SWISHAHOUSE/SWISHABLAST's ability to continue to provide the world with the finest music hip-hop has to offer.

As an independent label, SWISHAHOUSE/SWISHABLAST without a major label deal, acquired numerous spins on major music networks MTV and BET. As well, heavy radio rotation ensued. "Radio play is not easy to get as an independent," offers G-Dash. SWISHAHOUSE/SWISHABLAST is in a unique position because of the way the company is structured. It functions as a major record label with radio and retail taken care of by our staff as well as our partners. The reason why many independent labels don't have the success we have had at radio and retail is because they haven't established those relationships. SWISHAHOUSE/SWISHABLAST's way of handling business has always kept the bigger scope in mind. "If anyone would like to get in touch with us you can contact us directly, you do not have to go through any labels including the obvious ones who can not speak on our behalf. We also have received fraudulent information from people inside the industry that SWISHAHOUSE/SWISHABLAST is not clearing our artist appearances on records, which is not the case. A lot of times we have no knowledge that people are trying to contact us directly, because their being told that we don't want to be contacted, which is a lie. The bottom line is we want DJ's, labels, promoters, sponsors, movie directors etc. to contact us directly because it's nothing like hearing it from the horse's mouth. Who knows how many opportunities we've missed out on because the information was never properly relayed to us," commented G-Dash.
