Abwarten. Bis jetzt wurde ja "nur" Anklage erhoben, und das auch nur in einem Fall.

Die Überprüfung, ob er auch in andere Mordfälle verwickelt war (was auch immer das heißen soll) ist erst mal nur reine Routine...

Rapper Lil Boosie (real name Torrance Hatch) has been indicted for first degree murder. Lil Boosie was indicted by a East Baton Rouge Parish grand jury early evening Thursday for the October 2009 shooting murder of Terry Boyd. According to the district attorney, Lil Boosie may receive the death penalty according to a district attorney. The rap star is already incarcerated at Dixon Correctional Institute. Prosecutors also indicted Lil Boosie of conspiring with a girlfriend, another inmate and a former correctional officer of smuggling in synthetic marijuana, marijuana pills and codeine into the prison. Six other men have also been indicted for their involvement in the murder of Boyd. Prosecutors believe Lil Boosie may have been involved in at least five other slayings.

Trill Entertainment's managers Marcus Roach and Melvin Vernell, Jr. have been reinstated for attempted murder. The duo, who runs the imprint founded by UGK's Pimp C, have been previously charged with shooting Baton Rouge, Lousiana rapper Bruce "Beelow" Moore in 2005. Per reports, Moore was shot in front of a record store at point-blank range over a bootlegging dispute.

On December 22, a Baton Rouge court reversed a 2006 decision to dismiss the original charges against the two.

According to AllHipHop.com, District Attorney Hillar Moore, III said, “We thought that’s the way the court should rule." Moore, no relation to "Beelow," is also leading the investigation into Lil Boosie, who is accused of first degree murder in a separate case.

This year, Trill Entertainment has released albums from Lil Boosie and more recently, All Or Nothing by Trill Fam.

Lil Boosie Charged With Drug Smuggling Conspiracy

Already potentially facing the death penalty as the result of a first-degree murder charge from the shooting death of Terry Boyd amid other pending drug charges, the 28-year old Boosie has entered a plea of not-guilty regarding the murder case. He is also facing possession and distribution charges for marijuana, Ecstasy and codeine. Prosecutors have maintained that the case they’ve built is rife with proof that Hatch hired a hit-man to murder the 35-year old Boyd. Boosie is also suspected in five other murders, police officials say.

Titus Franklin and Arthur Stewart, both 27, were also hit with the same conspiracy and smuggling charges; all three men hail from Baton Rouge. The case broke when Stewart and Franklin allegedly made arrangements to deal with a men they thought to be a drug delivery connection but was actually an undercover agent. The pair arranged a plan for the agent to deliver the goods straight to Hatch, but it was actually the sting for police. Boosie also incurred an additional charge of inciting a felony.

It has been quite a bumpy year for Boosie and his Trill Entertainment record label compatriots. Rapper Webbie was arrested this past April in Tennessee on drug and evidence tampering charges, this following a late March brawl in East Saint Louis that took place after a concert and left one security guard shot.
