Zitat:
Former Three 6 Mafia member Robert Cooper aka Koopsta Knicca was arrested on Tuesday by Memphis police and charged with the assault and aggrevated robbery of his former friend and fellow rapper Justin "Lil J" Thurman on November 1.
Thurman, a paraplegic who uses a wheelchair for mobility, claims that Koopsta Knicca and another unknown assailant robbed him at gunpoint of $7,000 cash that he withdrew from the bank and intended to use to fix his vehicle. Thurman states that he told Koopsta that he had recently withdrawn the money from the bank. He also claims that Koopsta was jealous of his up-and-coming rap career which contributed to the motive for the robbery.
Memphis police have obtained a voice mail message saved to Thurman's telephone allegedly made by Koopsta Knicca prior to the robbery in which he says "I'm coming back with my niggas" and "we gonna kill all you muthafuckas".
Meanwhile, Koopsta Knicca recently went on the television airwaves (FOX 13-Memphis) and voiced his displeasure with his former groupmates with Three 6 Mafia. He claimed that DJ Paul & Juicy J of Three 6 Mafia have blackballed him from getting his music played on Memphis's rap radio stations Hot 107.1 and WHRK K-97. Hot 107.1's General Manager Duane Hargrove said Koopsta's accusations are simply farfetched and that DJs don't get to choose who plays what songs and who doesn't.
Three 6 Mafia's Juicy J responded by stating "Don't get mad cause you ain't got a #3 record!. "Get your stuff together first, then come holla at us."
Koopsta Knicca is currently being held at the Shelby County Jail on a $100,000 bond. His new album "The Mind Of Robert Cooper" hits store shelves on Nov 15th.
