About Lords of Lyrics:
Emerging back on the scene with their forthcoming album, is the Savvy Veteran Duo from the streets of Los Angeles California, L.O.L. If patience is truly a virtue, then L.O.L knows from first hand experience. They've fought to keep their careers alive through shady record deals and faulty management. Their last full length nation-wide release was the "Heaven or Hell" album, executive produced by D.J. Slip from Compton's Most Wanted and NBA superstar Stanley Roberts on Franchise Records Label. After a short stint with Franchise Records and completing the score for a Hollywood Movie starring Dennis Hopper, Kieffer Sutherand and Daryl Hannah, the group parted ways. Group members, Jason K. Jackson and Jerry "J.P." Polidore, have since reunited in effort to win back their fan base and provide good quality music for all the true L.O.L. heads. Performing with the likes of Cypress Hill, Too Short, Mobb Deep, Xzibit. They have also served as opening acts for Brandy and IMX (formerly known as Immature). L.O.L. continues to pull their own weight among Hip Hop giants.
L.O.L.'s Style
L.O.L. has a style comparable to no other. They offer what can be acknowledged as a clever technique, used in most of their rhymes however. JP lures in the listener with a smooth and mellow flow. So clean with his delivery, while baiting the prey to a vulnerable state. Once lured in, Koop is waiting in the cut, for the attack! With a strong and powerful vocal flow. Lords of Lyrics truly carry a style of their own.
While working with a few great producers, the next albums to come are sure to be their best yet. You be the judge. L.O.L. looks to change the current state of the Hip Hop game. Their motto is, Fuck the Fame! It's about all about the fans and providing quality music. That's where the game has gotten twisted.
