Nach 3 Gruppenalben in recht kurzer Zeit haben sich die Jungs ihren eigenen Thread verdient. American Poets sind Nova Kane, Pro The Leader, ehemals The Professional und mittlerweile auch Holocaust aka Warcloud usw... und Atlantis Scrolls...wer weiß wer da in naher Zukunft noch mit einsteigt.

Nova und Pro haben bereits vor dem Projekt hier und da was released. Von Pro dürften die Projekte mit Warcloud (Collabo Archives) und Pro's Laboratory bekannt sein. Warcloud dürfte wohl allen Interessierten ein Begriff sein. Brauche also nicht weiter auf ihn eingehen, hat er ja auch einen eigenes Thema hier.

American Poets liefern stets sehr solide Alben in Richtung Neo-Wu Sound ab. Finde das erste, "Know The Names", welches komplett vom Briten Semantix Tha Sorcera (Splattahouse Productionz) produziert wurde und Warcloud noch als Gast auftrat, am besten. Haben auch immer sehr bekannte Features auf ihren Platten, C-Rayz Walz, Killah Priest, Rasul Allah, Makeba Mooncycle, Timbo King, Storm von der Soul Kid Klik (!!!) oder G-Clef von CM, um mal ein paar interessante Leute zu nennen.

Denke das wird auch ganz nett, auch wenn Pro nicht der Überrapper ist...

Album ist übrigens nicht so gut wie vielleicht erhofft. Pro alleine ist mit der Zeit recht anstrengend und Dopestyle sowieso. Dazu sind noch einige bekannte Lieder und bekannte Beats mit neuen Raps mit drauf. Bisher das schwächste Release über Know The Names.

Pro alleine geht grad noch,aber Nova Kane und pro combo zerrt teilweise an den gehörnerven,hätt semantix das erste album nich produziert...wer weiss was draus geworden wäre

Nah, Nova find ich um einiges ohrenfreundlicher als Pro The Leader. Das dieser 'n bisschen nervt merkt man auch erst, wenn man das Album mit Dopestyle hört, der ja auch nicht gerade zum Hörgenuss einlädt...
