New project by Goldie Loc, Kam, MC Eiht & Snoop Dogg: The Warzone

You read right, a new West Coast supergroup has formed, consisting of Goldie Loc of Tha Eastsidaz, West Coast O.G. Brother Kam, MC Eiht of C.M.W., and Bigg Snoop Dogg himself. The project was brought into life by Snoop, and they have been hitting the studio, working on "The Warzone". We had the chance to catch up briefly with Goldie Loc to talk about it.

He let us know that they're about thirteen songs deep right now. Features on the album include the D.P.G., Ray J, Yo-Yo, Jelly Roll, with production by Goldie Loc himsef, Battlecat, THX & David Banner amongst others.

They are currently working on a deal for the record, we will let you know when it's finalized. Those of you who went to the D.P.G. show at the Roxy's last week saw Goldie Loc on stage performing the classic "G'd Up" with Snoop, so the two have officially back up.

Goldie Loc's partner-n-rhyme Tray Deee is still incarcerated, but they holla at each other regularily and keep in touch. Hopefully one day we'll be able to hear the duo wreck tracks together again.

das wird nichts und ist auch keinen eigenen thread wert. collabos werden in der regel scheisse, als ob du das nicht wüsstest...kam passt nicht in die gruppe, der ist mir ausserdem zu black power mässig drauf.

Wenn überhaupt jemals was von denen erscheint, mit Außnahme von ein paar Tracks bei dubcnn.
Erinnert mich an das Riflemen Projekt, da kam doch bisher auch nichts.

Naja 13 Tracks sind schon fertig, seid doch mal nicht so pessimistisch. Aber ich wüsste gerne skreel, was du damit meinst "kam is zu black power mäßig drauf". Kam so an sich mag ich auch nicht sonderlich, aber ich finde die 4 als Gruppe interessant.

texte im stil von "the black race has to unite..." und so scheiss, polischische lyrics...und kam rappt viel über so kram. deswegen, kam ist nichts für mich...alleine die covers sagen schon viel über die lyrics.

Ja ok, da geb ich dir recht. Allerdings braucht ihr euch wohl keine Sorgen machen, dass das Zeug nicht released wird, denn ich hab grad erfahren, dass die dank Snoop den Deal mit einer Distribution fast perfekt haben, fehlen bloß noch die unterschriften. :thumbs:

quelle der infos?

btw, wenn ich entscheiden könnte würde ich kam und eith streichen und nur noch doggy fizzle mit goldie in der crew lassen. dann könnte es ne geile platte werden, aber so gibt das niemals was geiles sag ich. cool falls ich mich irren sollte, aber ich tippe auf alle fälle das daß nichts besonders dolles bei rumkommt.

Eiht is doch cool, weiss gar nicht was du hast. Die Sachen die er dieses Jahr rausgebracht hat, find ich alle gut - sehr gut. Zur Quelle, der Newsbeitrag ganz oben is von dubcnn, zu dem Label-Deal, das hab ich von nem Typen von dubcnn mit dem ich ab und zu schnacke. Der hat mir das vorhin geschrieben. Der meint er hätte gestern mit Goldie telefoniert, der wollte aber noch nicht dass das Label da in der dubcnn-news genannt wird, weil die Unterschriften noch nicht da sind, aber das soll in den nächsten Tagen passieren. Und da Snoop involved is, kannst du dir sicher denken welches Label das is. Da kommt übrigens bald noch ne andere Gruppe über dieses Label dank Snoop raus, aber dazu später mehr.

We brought you the news about Snoop Dogg forming a new group called The Warzone, consisting of Goldie Loc, MC Eiht & Kam, and Snoop spoke on the project in Part 1 of our exclusive interview with him.

The trio, along with Snoop Dogg have been busy recording for the project, and Snoop has allowd us to premiere two tracks right here on dubcnn.

The first one is called "Don't Stop", and should be starting to get radio airplay soon. It features Kurupt on a verse and was produced by THX. The second one is called "Take It Or Leave It", where the trio spit over a darker beat.

der beat von don't stop is hammer, ansonsten auch ganz gut, das "don't stop" im chorus nervt nbischen. der zweite track is ziemlich gut..hätt ich nich gedacht, aber gefällt mir, vor allem das zusammenspiel der mcs (beim ersten track), wies schon bei dem westurn union track war :thumbs:
