ist ja eine ordentliche Kombo, das erste album fand ich ungeachtet dass ich es von meiner freundin geschenkt bekam ziemlich geil, doch bin jetzt doch überrascht vorhin erfahren zu haben dass DJ Khalil mittlerweile für G-Unit und konsorten beats macht...
wie ist denn ihr Gods & Gangsters album und gibts schon konkrete infos zum neuen album?
bin irgendwie schon erstaunt dass Khalil heute G-Unit beats baut, aber in interviews solche kommentare verlauten lassen

But how do you think their music is affecting the youth today? I mean yeah you know they might be rich and they’re taking care of their family. But as far as the people who actually listen to Ja Rule and Juvenile, how do you think THEY will mature 30 years from now?
Chace: This is my theory and you can disagree… but 30 years from now I don’t think that the music their trying to create will be relevant enough to matter. Theres only a handful of artists that are important 30 years later in any genre of music. The music is a reflection of socioeconomic times at the moment. Regardless of what we say as the status quo and conscious people, that Ja Rule and Juvenille are perpetuating a lot of these images.. but it goes hand and hand. This stuff already exists. Its not only them, its part of society and the culture. Juvenille and Ja Rule DON’T HAVE ENOUGH money to make the situation fucked up for all of us, brah. They just started poppin’ off 2 years ago. We’ve had problems of they way we as black people and the images that have been portrayed in the media way before these niggahzz. <smirk> In 30 years from now when Back the Ass Up comes on, youre gonna LOVE IT.
