tharealest.com: Let everybody know the situation with the album

Tha Realest: We still got the Witness Tha Realest project live on deck, I got a couple of distriubution deals on the table right now we tryin to see which one we're gonna roll with, man yall know how the business is, you gotta get the business right first, muthafuckas come and short hand you sometimes, ain't tryin to give a nigga what they want, so you know, that's why it's takin so long, but the project's still on the table, and we're tryin to get that muthafucka out real soon, and I'm gonna throw this mixtape out hopefully by March, get that muthafucka on the plate, and the Witness Tha Realest album change every other week man because I keep hookin up with muthafuckas I never thought I was gonna hook up with, and the album just keep getting better and better, and I keep pullin songs, and the songs I pull, I'm puttin em on the Tenkamenin album, that's gonna be the album comin out right after Witness Tha Realest, I got Tenkamenin, I'm bringin that sick ass nigga back to life, so that's gonna be comin right after Witness Tha Realest I'm gonna throw that one out, then I'm gonna drop the Mug Rebels , you know what I'm sayin, that's the third one. It's a group with my Southern niggas SD3 and a whole gang of other muthafuckas, we gonna be on the ho grimy and shit. So, a nigga got a lot of projects goin, it's just tryin to get that right distribution cause like I say, once you start going you don't wanna get caught up and don't be getting your money right because these muthafuckas will fuck you man. So, I know y'all like "man we tired of this nigga sayin he gonna drop his shit this year, or this month, or next month", but you gotta understand, if you doin your shit on some independent shit and you ain't gettin the right deal or right amount of money per record, it's really hard to just take sucka ass deal when you got fucked already in the game and you don't wanna get fucked again.

tharealest.com: What can people expect with the mixtape?

Tha Realest: Really, with the mixtape thing, the mixtape thing keeps changing also because at first, the mixtape was gonna be straight collabs, with me on every song with a lot of my homeboys in the industry, but then I was like fuck that, I wanna call the mixtape "Check Out My Melody Volume 1", with all unknown unsigned muthafuckas. What I wanna do is, and I already got the idea copywritten just incase some sucka ass muthafucka hear the interview and try to get the shit done. But just like the NBA, NFL draft, I wanna get all the record labels together, and some of the unsigned tightest muthafuckas that ain't got no deals, and niggas are gonna be auctioned off to the record labels, and the record labels gotta sign these muthafuckas, whatever record labels come to the shit gotta have paperwork signed saying that they will sign at least 1 or 2 artists performin at the audition for it. Thats what I want, cause there's a lot of young niggas that ain't never had the chance to get that big record that have heat, and I wanna get these niggas on my album. I went from havin collabs with niggas that's already out there, to tryin to get collabs with niggas you ain't never heard of cause I keep bumpin into so many raw ass niggas so that's why the mixtape got slowed down a little bit but the muthafucka is still comin along. I'm already 8 songs deep I wanted to put like 14 on it. But if worse come to worse, if I can't get it how I really want it, I'm gonna throw out the mixtape with the main names on it.

tharealest.com: Where can people get the mixtape?

Tha Realest: Strictly internet, you know what I'm sayin, strictly internet and mom and pop stores. It ain't gonna be no promotion on it or nothin. It's gonna be like if you hear it in the hood, or if you see a bitch shakin her ass to it in a strip club, that's exactly where you gonna find it. It's not gonna be in any stores, it's gonna be strictly internet and mom and pop stores. I will make sure it gets in mom and pop stores, it ain't gonna be like Best Buy or Target, it ain't like that, it's a hood album. No market no promotion, it's gonna be a hood album. I'm happy if 65 thousand muthafuckas get it in they hand, cause that's what the album's gonna be, I want it to be like a bootleg, I want the bootleggers to be like this the hottest shit they got, bootleg the muthafucka, I ain't even lookin to get no money off the muthafucka, just straight underground, I want it to be some raw sewage type shit.

tharealest.com: You also talked about releasing a DVD is that still coming?

Tha Realest: Yup, Way 2 Real, we gettin all kind of footage man, I got all kinds of crazy ass footage man, y'all gonna trip when y'all see the type of shit that really be goin on in my life, like goin to court with me, violatin, got my homies with me man, C-Bo, Yukmouth, the whole West Coast Mafia clique fuckin with a nigga, just any and everybody y'all never thought be around me and showin love with me, E-White from Dogghouse, I got all these niggas man these my dudes, y'all gonna see a whole other side, me just kickin back celebratin the new year, fuckin with my nigga Mike Bibby, you know what I'm sayin, all my niggas man, fuckin around livin the good life, but you know what I'm sayin, a nigga is goin through some bullshit too. I'm gonna start it off with Death Row shit, that's another album I told y'all about, Death Row Dayz, I'm still gonna drop it, I wanna get the B-I straight with Suge, you know, get the nigga some money off the shit cause like I said I ain't even trippin cause I still got a lot of the songs. So I been sittin on these muthafuckas for years, I mean he a business man I'm a business man let's sit down and put that album out too man, it's nothin to me cause regardless it's still comin out. So, I got footage from Death Row on the DVD too, it's gonna be like a little baby movie, I'm not sure if I'm gonna put out a soundtrack but the DVD is gonna be called Way 2 Real.

tharealest.com: Recently you did a song with E-White, C-Bo and the Westcoast Mafia camp. How did that come about?

Tha Realest: Song's called Hard Timez, C-Bo gave me a call and told me he was working on a mixtape, hooked up with Caveo, Lil Cyco from Westcoast Mafia, Speedy Gotti Gotti, E-White, Yukmouth came through. Everybody was showin love and we in there doin our thing, and the song came about it's called Hard Timez. It's talkin about how niggas go through hard times, females go through hard times, you know what I'm sayin, a knockin ass westcoast gutta ass beat, Speedy went first, I went second, and E-White ended the song like classic. So, it's one of them type songs, it's gonna be hard, it's gonna be on the mixtape, Caveo handlin all that shit so look out for it on Westcoast Mafia.

tharealest.com: Recently a rapper named Lunch has released a single called "Love Me For Me", and it's a verse that you rapped, and now it's on the radio stations and they're calling it a 2Pac track. What do you gotta say about that?

Tha Realest: First off, fuck Lunch, off the top, this nigga stole my verse, I don't even know this dude, never met this dude, nigga named Lunch, why would I do a song with a nigga named Lunch. The original song "Love Me For Me", I did it with Bobby Brown, that was the first version. Second version, I do part 2 to the muthafucka, once I do part 2, this sucka ass nigga named Tony Dinero, I guess he stole my vocals, my accapellas, and sold it to this nigga I guess, I don't know, I haven't talked to neither one of them bitch ass niggas, but I'm figurin this shit out cause I got court cases on these bitch ass niggas right now, so these niggas stole my accapellas and sold em to this nigga Lunch. Some DJ named DJ Fingaz, you know what I'm sayin, sucka ass nigga too, I'm sweatin all these niggas, these niggas don't know where they at, these niggas from the 909 they're from Riverside, Homeless Records you niggas is finished nigga, when I see you niggas, real talk, you know what I mean, these niggas stole my vocals, it's all on the radio, "Lunch featuring 2Pac", they disrespecting Pac name by doin that, they disrespect me by doin that, and this nigga put it all on his album and shit, they some bitches nigga, I see this nigga album, nigga named Lunch, c'mon nigga, "Reheated The Streets Come Eat It", I see this nigga's shit, c'mon nigga this shit is disrespecting rap homie, and he put me on that shit with him, like he a real ass nigga or somethin nigga, I'm from these streets nigga, nigga gonna sweat his bitch ass up like a nigga his friend or somethin, fuck this nigga man, real talk, nigga got me heated cause this shit all on the radio. I got at my dude Damizza you know what I mean, Damion Young over at Power 106, they squashed the shit, they will never play the shit again, now the muthafuckin Beat playin, they gonna squash it they ain't never gonna play it again, so you better take your bitch ass out of town if you want your song played, and they ain't never gonna play it once I find out!

tharealest.com: Do you plan on going on tour anytime soon?

Tha Realest: I'm gonna go on a promo tour before Witness Tha Realest, you know what I mean. If a tour gets jumpin, I'm gonna holler at my dude Damion Young, I was hollerin at him, they got a lot of shit on the table, that's my dude, they lookin out for me showin me a lot of love. And WC that's my nigga, what's up WC and Mack muthafuckin 10, good lookin out on that gangsta ass album y'all niggas just dropped too, them my dudes, hopefully they tour and I open up some shit for them cause they some gutter ass gangsta ass niggas, that's what's up, so hopefully I open up for them, you know what I'm sayin if I do that's a gangsta ass show.

tharealest.com: What's up with the Last Circle?

Tha Realest: It was a raw ass group of niggas that was doin a whole lot. But a lot of niggas in the pententary right now, a lot of that Last Circle shit got slowed down cause of that. But one of the Twinz gonna get out soon. We got some of the material we recorded before they went to the pen, I would like to refresh that shit up. There's a lot of niggas from Last Circle that you never heard of like my nigga Po-Rida, he comin with that hard shit. I hope to keep doin some Last Circle music, cause muthafuckas been checkin for it.

tharealest.com: At this point who are you feelin in the rap game?

Tha Realest: On the westcoast, I gotta look out for them Westside Connect ass niggas, they keepin it street and gutter. A lot of niggas sleepin on that nigga Jayo Felony, he comin with some new shit, I got a wiff of that new shit with him and Damizza, it's hot. As far as new niggas on the westcoast, I'm feelin The Game, I think The Game is gonna discipline a lot of these niggas, he got a swift piece of conversation, he flow eastcoast but he rep the westcoast, and he bangin the B-Dogs to the fullest, you gotta love that nigga man. I keep it to the grits, I'm always gonna keep 40, C-Bo, Richie and all them niggas, I grew up on them niggas, I gotta keep them in my stereo them my niggas. You'll catch a couple of my cd's but I don't listen to my shit all like that, but besides that I got nothin but that underground Pac runnin, I keep some of that Pac shit that ain't nobody else got.

tharealest.com: Recently you hooked up with Flawless, what do you gotta say about that?

Tha Realest: Me and Flawless got a whole lot goin, what's up Flawless, that's my dude, holla at ya nigga, ain't nothin changed. Me and Flawless got a good chemistry in the studio, he come in, transfer it, drop all his beats, he let me create off his shit, he got some nice knockin ass beats, but besides that he's a cool ass person, not just workin as a producer and artist, just a cool ass muthafucka to fuck with, drink beer with, but the nigga got heat, a lot of muthafuckas sleepin on that dude, holla at that dude, go on his website and buy some beats from the dude, put some money on his pocket cause he got some hot ass beats, I'm tellin you. Me and Flawless did some nice ass joints, be on the look out for that dude.

tharealest.com You and WC hooked up recently, tell people about that.

Tha Realest: (Rappin) "I got the mind of a mad man yo, and stayin strapped is the main rule that they teach you, when you a mad man so, now here I go stumblin, because my conversation's fumblin, foul words to the bitches, I leave your stomach in stiches...", that's some of the shit from "Mind of A Mad Man" with WC. But man, Dub is my nigga, I fuck with Dub like 4 days a week, that is a real nigga, I owe WC a lot cause me and him sit down and not just talk about music, we talk about aspects on the game of life, the dude done been around the block man and he really showed me a whole lot of good shit on some decision making shit. A few times I had to call that dude to get some incites on shit, the dude is a good dude, but besides that you know WC is gonna come in and wreck shop, you know what I'm sayin, I can't wait till he does his next solo album, but right now I'm just supportin that nigga with that Westside Connection album, the verse he spit on "Mind of A Mad Man" is classic, cause I remember when we was doin it, Dub was like "Realest, let me tell u somethin, we doin a song and we gotta do somethin nobody ain't never think we do, and I gotta come like I ain't never come on another song", and he did, I promise you, when you hear the song, you gonna look at this interview and be like "you god damn right". Holla at me dub.

tharealest.com: Stevie J is another producer you've been workin with, tell people about that collab.

Tha Realest: Shit man, me and Sleeze like siemeze twins man, once you get out you can't get in man, Sleeze that's my nigga we call him Sleeze, he out in NY man doin his thing, that's where he's from, that's my dude, anything I need Sleeze gives to me, he got a lot of projects he workin on, and everything he workin on he keep me in it, it's just like a relationship man, you know what I mean he keep money in my pocket man from all the shit he do, and anything I can get, if he wants to get paid on some beats, I'm gonna look out for him, but Stevie J is all over my album with some classic shit. Y'all heard him on that Biggie shit, Mary J Blidge beats, 112, Puffy beats, y'all heard that, now y'all hear him with a real ass grimy ass niggas cause I am shittin on beats man, real talk.

tharealest.com: People wanna know about Wack Deuce.

Tha Realest: Wack Deuce that's the homie from the MOB, Compton, that nigga doin his thizzle, just talked to him, holler on Christmas, Wack Deuce is holdin himself up gettin all his money in his pockets, recordin, rappin all the time, he gonna be on my album, I'm on his project. Everybody doin so many songs with so many people but we just tryin to get that distribution goin, I promise you man you gonna hear so many songs, cause you don't understand man niggas is workin man, Wack Deuce got heat, and he represent that Outlaw clique real tough, Che Guevera to the fullest holla back.

tharealest.com: Who are the producers you been workin with?

Tha Realest: Man I always keep a beat from Marv, Blaqthoven, don't fuck around and make you get your eyes swollen, his beats hit so hard you gotta close your eyes, Blaqthoven don't be bullshittin, that's my niggas. I got beats man, from underground niggas down south, everybody man, I just fucked with my nigga from Sac Town named Big Slip Roc, did some shit with him, and did a song with him and Messy Marv, what up Marv, and there's a whole lot of other producers too.

tharealest.com: A couple months back I was at your birthday party, and at the end of the night you ended up doing a song with C-Bo, Killa Tay, Lil Cyco, 151, Kola Loc and Virginya Slim. Tell people about that song.

Tha Realest: Kola what's up, what's up Kola holla back nigga. Man you know what I'm sayin it was a big birthday bash, lot of liquor lot of weed, and there was a studio right there so why the fuck not, and we did a song called "My Main Squeeze". I was like "damn C-Bo what the fuck, what you wanna call the song", and C-Bo was like "call that muthafucka My Main Squeeze", and so we started breaking down how a gun is really a nigga's main squeeze, and Virginya Slim and Kola started breaking down how a gun is a bitch's main squeeze, cause they dumpin on niggas for disrespecting, the song is long song, it's not gonna be a song for the radio, it's a straight ridin, end of the album 7 minute type song.

tharealest.com: Who's some of the people you been workin with?

Tha Realest: Man it's so many niggas I'm not even gonna name names, I'm just rappin, holla back, when you hear the songs, you'll be like "damn this nigga did a song with that nigga? he did a song with her", and I'm tellin you it's niggas who's albums you buy everyday.

tharealest.com: You've had some words for Ja Rule in "Check Out My Melody", and song from C-Bo's past album. What do you gotta say about that?

Tha Realest: (Starts humming Check Out My Melody, laughing). Man niggas think I hate Ja Rule or kill em on site. Ja, an artist being an artist, muthafuckas know when they do some shit they shouldn't do. When I'm fuckin with all these artists everyday, goin into different cities, and as an artist and as man, I question myself as to why he would do certain things, why would he rap Pac's song "Pain", word for word like a nigga ain't never heard that. "...they never take me alive I'm gettin high with my 4-5", I'm like nigga why would you even do that same beats, same rhymes, and throw that shit out there? Why would you rap over Dogg Pound's "Dogg Pound 4 Life" beat? And keep damn near half the song the way they had it, you know what I mean, flip the shit, if you're gonna use the same beats, flip the shit, I just felt it was disrespectful cause niggas over here in the westcoast trippin off that shit, I don't know how take it in the eastcoast, no disrespect to you niggas, niggas love New York and Jersey, what up to all my niggas in NY and Jersey, but niggas be like damn this nigga doin it like that, rappin over "So Many Tears" beat, damn nigga when's it gonna stop? I mean it's cool if that's the type of rapper you are, but I can't just go around hear the shit and not speak on the shit, so niggas think I'm just ridin on this nigga cause it's somethin to do, nah it ain't just somethin to do, niggas take that shit personal nigga, niggas out here love Pac homie, niggas gonna die with Pac homie, so when niggas do that shit, why not speak on that shit homie? I'm gonna speak on it. Now this nigga in interviews sayin "You wanna see Pac come back?", alright you Pac or somethin now? Niggas ain't tryin to be Pac homie, niggas out here thuggin my nigga doin they own thug shit. So when niggas speak on that shit like that, and I'm so called a real ass rider for this music and these streets and I don't speak on it, I'm a sucka ass nigga. Nigga I came from Death Row, ain't nothin changed, I just ain't on Death Row nomore, you know what I'm sayin, that's what's up.

tharealest.com: What can people expect in 2004 for Tha Realest?

Tha Realest: 2004 I'm gettin more, not rewindin just fast forwardin, nigga's future lookin bright, we just tryin to make sure everything get done right, let's celebrate and get this album out, tour, get this gutter ass money, I wanna hit the hoods, projects, colleges, black colleges, white colleges, I don't give a fuck where you from, overseas, I just wanna celebrate and have fun, I ain't tryin to have fans, I just wanna have peoples I don't call nobody fans, fuck fans, fans do crazy shit, I want my peoples around cause people celebrate and have fun with you, I want those people around me. If my album don't sell, my album don't sell, but I know it's gonna be a few niggas that like the shit I say, so I'm gonna put out the Tenkamenin album for them. If they like that album, I'm gonna put out the Mug Rebels album, if niggas like that, next one. It's songs done, I don't even gotta do nomore music becuase y'all don't understand how many songs a nigga got, nigga got a whole lot of music, with a whole lot of niggas that you like, I don't even gotta record shit. What's up Devin The Dude, that song we got nigga, it's strictly for the strip club them bitches gonna love us for that one. Holla back Rap-A-Lot.
