naja married to da game war schon endgültig müll (die alben davor waren ja noch mit ein paar guten tracks bestückt) .............

an dieser stelle möchte ich auch mit nachhaltigem druck noch einmal darauf aufmerksam machen das die platte von too short, für den wahren fan von raps der alten bayarea zeiten nicht das non plus ultra sein wird. es wird bestimmt menschen geben die seine musik mögen werden, aber dem anspruchsvollen rapmusikhörer würde ich eher so brilliante lieder wie "i ain't trippin" und "pimpology" an das herz legen. wer anspruchsvollen geschmack hat wird sich sicher nicht an dieser platte ergötzen können.

was aber auch nicht wierklich überraschend ist und leute die sowieso nicht so große shorty the pimp fans sind haben auch schon seine letzten alben liegen lassen .............

Having influenced many of today's and yesterday's artists with his style and lingo, Short shows that he can definitely still hold his own in 2006. As we reported last summer, Short was down with the whole hyphy movement of the Bay Area at the BARS awards, and although it's not what he's focusing on, you can tell he's going back to his roots with his new single, "Blow The Whistle". This summer, Short will keep everybody awake with his new album "Up All Night," dropping on Short Records/Jive. Fans who weren't too pleased with his crunk style tracks will be glad to hear this new joint

Too $hort "Blows The Whistle" & Hooks Up With Kelis
ou know he can't stay away! The legendary Too $hort is back with album number 16! The Oakland rapper has putting it down for the longest, but he's not tired yet. He's currently putting the finishing touches on his latest effort "Up All Night", dropping on Short Records/Jive Records in a few months.

He hooked up with Lil Jon for his first single "Blow The Whistle". Short Dogg spits some real game over this one, showing people why he's been around so long. Lil Jon provided a hard beat, he stayed silent on this one, no singing/yelling.

Too $hort Talks About His Next Album



As he completes his forthcoming album, Too $hort is slated to release Gangsters & Strippers, a CD/DVD combo with his Up All Nite Crew.

Short's crew is comprised of rappers from the Bay Area, Chicago and Atlanta. With titles like "Booty Bounce Bopper " and "Sugar Daddy," the CD and accompanying DVD is heavily themed on rump shaking.

"Sure the songs are explicit, but they are very specific as well," $hort said via a statement. "In the process of making the music we'd leave the studio and go to the strip club or run the streets. So naturally, we chose to come up with the sounds and concepts that go along with late night behavior."

Gangsters & Strippers is scheduled to hit stores April 11 while Too $hort's upcoming album is tentatively slated for a June release.
