Das Album is nicht schlecht, auch wenn es nicht an die alten DPG Sachen rankommt
Aber ich kanns nur empfehlen

also ich habs heute bekommen und muß sagen bin voll enttäuscht..3-4 Tracks gehen klar..den Rest kannste knicken..Kurupt schläft beim Rappen ein und beatmäßig geht auch nicht viel...

Gerade die Beats gefallen mir. "Deep Dishes" und "Anarchy '87" erinnern sogar an die gute alte Zeit

ok dann spar ich mir das...

Fands auch eher enttäuschend...die 3 preview Track fand ich cool,
aber das Album eher nicht...wie Face sagt...er schläft ein.
Inhaltlich hat er sich etwas mehr Mühe gegeben...scheinen keine Freestyles wie sonst zu sein, aber das rettet die CD trotzdem nicht.

Dafür sind die neuen DPG Sachen

Es scheint auch so dass die beiden wieder nach oben kommen. Vom neuen Dogg Pound Album erwarte ich viel, "DPGC Muzik" burnt richtig
Jetzt muss Daz nur noch das "So So Gangsta" Album droppen, vielleicht klappts ja dieses Jahr...

lol, Daz kann sich ruhig Zeit lassen, hat dieses Jahr schon 2 LP's gedroppt. Das neue DPG Album wird bestimmt wieder nice. Hört sich ja bis jetzt sehr gut an. Es soll ja angeblich auch ein DPGC Album geben, also mit allen von früher, iclusive Lady Of Rage, RBX, Bad Azz, Warren G, Snoop, Nate, Soopafly und KoKane... Das wäre natürlich noch geiler!

Und das "So So Gangsta" Album ist ja schon ewig angekündigt, auf der DPG Homepage gab es früher mal ein paar Probetracks der LP - die waren der Hammer

Suge Knight Appears In Court



Rap mogul Marion "Suge" Knight testified at a bankruptcy hearing Friday (May 5) that Death Row Records has struggled financially because of his frequent incarcerations, in addition to a $107 million lawsuit filed by the label's alleged co-founders.


The hearing was set to allow creditors to question Knight about his massive debt, which totals over $100 million.

Knight claimed he had nothing to do with the label while he was in jail and said he learned about the company's hardships through magazine articles.

Knight also said he had never seen a profit and loss statement but that he had reviewed income tax returns.

Bankruptcy documents filed on April 20 showed Knight earned no income this year from employment or operation of a business.

According to the records, his only assets include a bank account containing $11, clothing worth $1,000, furniture and appliances valued at $2,000, and jewelry worth $25,000.

Knight owns publishing/copyrights worth $4.4 million. However, the Internal Revenue Service had placed a lien on that intellectual property to cover back taxes of $11.3 million, the records showed.

Knight denied having secret funds in foreign countries, including an African company dealing with diamonds and gold.

"The office wasn't there, but we had to finish our obligations. Many projects that were started before that had to be finished," Knight stated. "Some of that work might have been done with a $500,000 payment received earlier this year from a music distributor."

Knight said he plans on reactivating Death Row at some point in the future.

Knight filed for bankruptcy protection April 4 to avoid the court appointing someone to take control of Death Row and his assets.

The federal filing halted the state court action in which Michael Harris and his ex-wife Lydia are set to collect a $107 million judgment from Knight for assisting in the founding of Death Row.

Michael, an imprisoned drug dealer serving a 28-year sentence at San Quentin Prison, is claiming half of the $107 million as community property in his divorce from Lydia.

On Friday, Knight testified that he had previously reached an agreement with Lydia.

"I settled for a million and signed off on it," said Knight. "She got it and she spent it," Knight told reporters.

Lydia contends that she received the $1 million but never settled with Knight.

"I didn't do a settlement for $1 million. That's ridiculous. Let's keep it real," she said.

The proceedings are set to resume on June 23.

Jaded Entertainment signs Hip-Hop artist, Eastwood, to a recording deal with a highly anticipated album, Making History, set to release in early 2007. Eastwood, who has over 10 years experience in the music business, started his career at Dunn Deal Records, made his name at Marion “Suge” Knight’s Death Row Records, and later joined “The Game’s” label, Black Wall Street Records...

Eastwood honed his art by spitting rhymes on mixtapes of many well-known artists including Snoop Dogg, Kurupt, Ray J, and The Game. Without having released his own album, Eastwood's debut is considered one of the most anticipated in the Hip-Hop world. Across America and overseas, fans of his popular mix tapes are estimated to exceed one million units worldwide and for good reason. The 6’4” rapper brings a magnetic swagger to the game that many agree hasn’t been seen since Tupac’s reign.

Eastwood’s unique ability to “ride” melodies has become his trademark which differentiates him from other rappers. Most rappers simply ride a beat. He also deftly transitions his flow from single to double-time, which is one reason his songs sound so fresh and catchy.

Jaded Entertainment founder, Klee Irwin, commented, "Eastwood impressed me right away. He's fantastically creative, both lyrically and with his flow". Putting his money where his mouth is, Irwin committed to help Eastwood make history by doing something that’s never been done before. He said, “I won’t allow a song to go on a Jaded album unless it’s an addictively catchy single in the making. There are no ‘filler’ songs on our albums. Suge Knight Evicted, Rap-A-Lot Sues In Court Over '2Face'

According to reports, former Death Row Records mogul Marion "Suge" Knight was evicted from his luxury condominium on Wilshire Boulevard on Friday (Mar. 23).

Witnesses said that police cars and a detective came to enforce the eviction and that all of the mogul's possessions were were loaded on to a truck in front of the building...


The eviction is the latest in the saga surrounding Knight and his pioneering record label, Death Row Records, which was co-founded with super producer Dr. Dre.

Last week, Rap-A-Lot Records filed a $300,000 lawsuit against Death Row Records in an attempt to collect money invested into the Death Row/Rap-A-Lot Records 2Face album, that consisted of posthumous vocals by Tupac, alongside new lyrics by Scarface.

The 2face album also caused a minor controversy, when lawyers for Michael "Harry-O" Harris claimed the album was proof of a secret long term business relationship between Knight and Rap-A-Lot founder, James "J Prince" Smith.

Knight filed for bankruptcy in Apr. 2006, in an attempt to avoid paying a $107 million default judgment against Death Row Records to Michael and Lydia Harris.

Harris claims he invested $1.5 million to help start Death Row Records in 1991, with Knight's attorney, David Kenner. He claims he was cheated out of the profits.

Harris also claimed to be a 50 % owner in Rap-A-Lot, but the allegations were dismissed by Smith.

Harris, who is serving 28-years in San Quentin for attempted-murder and drug dealing, was married to Lydia Harris.

The Harris' later filed for divorce and Mr. Harris later filed a lawsuit against his former wife, claiming that he was entitled to half of the judgment against Death Row Records.

Death Row Records was placed into the hands of a court-appointed bankruptcy-trustee in July 2006, after a judge ruled that the label was mismanaged due to accounting practices.

Knight testified that he hadn't reviewed the financial statements of Death Row Records in over a decade.

Knight's assets have also been frozen since Aug. 2005.
