It's been a minute since we heard some new music from Roscoe. The Y.A. rhymespitter has been in the lab recording, creating new heat as usual. We've got an exclusive new freestyle for ya'll which was just recorded, over Huey's "Pop, Lock & Drop It" beat called "Cock, Pop & Drop 'Em".

The title is representative for the song, because that's exactly what he is doing... Killing it!!! This is literally a freestyle, Scodie Mac wanted to get some stuff off his chest. I'm not going to say anymore, download the song below and hear for yourself:

New Y.A. Music! "Sumthin' On Spokes

They've been one of the most anticipated groups ever since they started appearing on various Dogg Pound projects, and the fans have been fiending for a full project for years. I'm talking about Kurupt & Roscoe's crew Y.A. (Youth Authority aka Young Assassins).

The time has finally come, Roscoe, Tri-Star, Bizzle, Slo Stallone and Tone have been locked in the studio for the past couple months working on the Y.A. album with the help of the big homie Kurupt.

Of course they had to link up with one of the hottest producers out right now, Tek Nizzle, to supply them with some beats. We've got an exclusive joint for ya'll to check out right now called "Sumthin' On Spokes", produced by Tek. Kurupt does the intro, and Roscoe, Tri-Star and Slo Stallone drop verses, check it out below:

On November 11, 2008, the heydays of the Wild, Wild West will be revived by two of gangsta rap's most well known siblings; Kurupt and Roscoe. Distributed by Koch and released by High Powered Entertainment, "The Frank and Jess Story" is the first album to see the brothers unite for a full project.

The new album is said to "takes listeners on a lyrical conquest through the day-to-day antics of two well-respected and recognized rappers on all coasts."

"The Frank and Jess Story" is named after the notorious brothers and American outlaws; Frank and Jesse James; "The Frank and Jess Story" features tracks of all flavors and the sonic versatility of seasoned lyricists.

Younger brother Roscoe shines with the self-assurance of an artist at the top of his game, while Big Brother Kurupt delivers his sharp, bravado-infused vernacular and wit. The combination of Kurupt's tongue twisting complexity and Roscoe's rebelliously eager flow is not to be overlooked.

The project features production from John "J" Silva on tracks like "I Miss U" and the strip-teaser "Give Me a Lapdance" as well as on anthems "All I Need" and "Hate on Me." Guest appearances on the album include Dogg Pound Gangsta Daz Dillinger as well as Too Short, Kokane and Mrs. Kurupt herself, Gail Gotti.

We have just received the first single from the album minutes ago - "Break It Down Like" features Too Short and can be downloaded or listened to in Clean or Explicit format via our Embeddable Streaming Audio players.

Let's get to another exclusive, this time from Roscoe. Scodie's been keeping busy, recently dropping a new solo album called "Stray Dogg Off Tha Leash, Off Tha Chain", while also finishing up his duo album with his brother Kurupt, called "The Frank & Jess Story", which is set to drop in stores on November 11th. While putting these albums together, Roscoe still found the time to hook up with our very own Tekneek up in Philly for a humorous freestyle track called "I Got Bitchez", on which he gets his autotune on. Check it out:

Roscoe - I Got Bitchez

Dubcnn hooked up with Kurupt to get a few words on the Kurupt & Roscoe album, "The Frank & Jess Story", which was officially released yesterday, November 11th 2008, through High Powered Ent/Koch Records. The album was produced by J. Silva and features Daz, Kokane, Too Short, Rob Quest and Gail Gotti amongst others.

"This album was long overdue. Me and Scodie have always kept it pushing and it was about time we came full circle for a whole album. This is just the start, you can expect many more albums from me and Roscoe", Kurupt said.

Throughout the last weeks, Kurupt and Roscoe have been on a nationwide promo tour, networking and promoting the album on different radio stations. "We were out in New York, DJ Whoo Kid showed us a lot of love, everybody at G-Unit Radio, Shade 45, they fuck with us heavy. Even Kay Slay, that's my nigga! I ain't kicked it with him like that before, but I got a chance to meet him and he's a real cool cat. They all supported the project, so anything any of those DJ's need, Kay Slay, Whoo Kid, Angela Yee (Lip Service), they all support us big", he said about the duo's promo tour, which also featured 40 Glocc and Gail Gotti.

"We was just having a ball, that's what the album was about. It's conscious but fun at the same time - and all West Coast. We've got conscious records on there like "All I Need" with Daz and the one with me and Rob from the Coughee Brothaz, which is some smooth, real life shit." About the albums producer, High Powered Ent's John Silva, Kurupt had nothing but good things to say: "John really put this record together and I think people are gonna see some of his best work on there."

We already brought you two tracks off the album, "Break It Down Like" with Too Short and the introspective "I Got U", but here go two of my personal favorites off "The Frank & Jess Story", incase you need more convincing to go pick it up:

http://www.dubcnn.com/media/audio/kuruptroscoe-allineed
http://www.dubcnn.com/media/audio/kurup ... imetowaste

Incase you haven't done so yet, make sure to go pick up Kurupt & Roscoe's "The Frank & Jess Story", available in stores and online now!

However, knowing Kurupt, he already has plenty of other projects he's putting together, most notably the Kurupt & DJ Quik album "Blaqkout" (spelt qk for "Q"uik and "K"urupt). This album is shaping up to be one of the most promising to drop in the near future.

"Me and Quik is next with the Blaqkout. The album is real proper, we put our foot in on this one! We're about 90% done, about two more songs to do and Quik is already mixing the tracks. This is a step above a lot of things we've done lately, Kurupt explains.

"I told Quik that people don't want too much time to go by before another Quik album comes out. He's part of the history out here and they wanna hear him! He said fuck it, let's ride out! We did a few records and he was loving it, the chemistry was there. We're both rapping on the album and Quik did all the production." If that's not enough information to get the excitement up for "Blaqkout", then I don't know what is.

Apart from that, you can also expect the upcoming Dogg Pound album "100 Wayz", a Kurupt solo album called "Street Lights" entirely produced by Terrace Martin, and another Kurupt solo produced by Snoop Dogg. "Each of these are totally different albums, none of them sound the same. Each of them got its own concept", Kurupt described his various solo projects.
