San Francisco Bay area native Celly Cel is back again in the media
spotlight and released his first DVD production on August 2, 2005
titled "Rap Life – Behind The Scenes," courtesy of Realside Films.
Born Marcellus McCarver, Celly Cel grew up in the San Francisco Bay
Area and released his first album in 1994, "Heat 4 Yo Azz." In 1995, he
released "Killa Kali," his best-selling album to date which featured the
classic MTV and BET Video, "It's Goin' Down." Earlier this year, Celly
released his follow-up project, “It’z Real Out Here” which featured the
radio hit, “I Want You.”
Come take a ride with West Coast Rap Legend Celly Cel as he gives you
an up close and personal look into the life of a rap star. The DVD shows
live performances and radio interviews of Celly plus scenes of Celly Cel
signing autographs, appearing in nightclubs and functions with some of
