Hey hey....
I'm so excited to type this up and share some good news with everyone. I am just going to do some ALPHABETIZED bullet points and then put the official "CloudNineteen" tracklist below.
A. My trip to Texas was amazing. Me and S1 created this whole album without even getting the chance to hang out in person. haha. To finally meet up, meet his family and see our chemistry in the lab was a blessing. Both of his sons are extremely talented. I whooped them at WII tennis but I hear Dee is a monster on the b-ball court and Vohn is CRAZY on the beats at 11 years old. His wife cooked some great meals and I knew making this record was the RIGHT thing to do. We spent 3 days working in the studio together and many of the songs came to LIFE during that time. New elements were added, the sequences were adjusted and there were many times where we both would get goosebumps listening back.
B. In my last Newsletter I shared details about my vision for this record. It was really hard for me to share the vision at first because I feared that people wouldn't understand. At this point I feel very comfortable with the vision and I am confident that this is what I'm supposed to do. Starting February 25th me and S1 will begin traveling around the U.S. with the intent of giving out as many CDs as we can press. My hope is to press 30,000 copies and in order to meet that goal I am accepting donations and financial contributions to help with the manufacturing cost. None of the donated money is going in my pockets, and with a total goal of raising $20,000 - every 70 cents we raise represents a CD being given away to someone. Rather then continuing to type out the vision, I filmed myself on DJ Idull's computer so that I could verbalize the vision in a video. You can view the video at -

it's already received nearly 400 plays in less then 24 hours. If your interested in contributing to the cause then my paypal is
braillehiphop@hotmail.com . If you'd rather send a check in the mail then just email me and I will hit you with my address.
C. I wanted to thank everyone who has contributed so far and helped spread the word. The fact that others believe in this vision is so COOL. Sorry to use such a cheap word but I can't really express how exciting this is. I know people have been anxious to hear what this record sounds like - there isn't really ONE song that represents the whole sound but we did decide to LEAK a second jam. It's called "Work That Way" and you can hear it at
www.braillehiphop.com. You can also view the album cover at that same link. Spread the word if your digging it and feel free to post about it in your blogs.
D. I'm leaving to rock shows in Pittsburgh and Philadelphia this weekend. My wife is coming with me and we are taking one DAY OFF in New York. I guess you could call it a DATE day in the big apple. haha. I get back next Tuesday and then I will be taking the "CloudNineteen" album to PRINT. The retail version of the record will be available on-line by March 3rd at various online stores. This is a completely grass roots movement with no distribution but we will do our best to make it available to all the fans. And honestly, my heart with this record is that anyone who wants it will have a chance to get it.
As promised, below is the OFFICIAL tracklist. Check it out. Much love!!!! Also, if your interested - check out the DVD "Indescribable". This video really helped expand my mind and realize how big God is. It would be to long for me to fully explain but I highly recommend checking it out.
