Blue Sky Black Death, the burgeoning young producer duo of Kingston
and Young God, have embarked upon a new leg of their sonic journey
with the indie-pop gem "Slow Burning Lights," set for release on October 14th.
After building a substantial resume producing for a wealth of indie
hip-hop emcees, "Slow Burning Lights" now finds BSBD pairing with newcomer vocalist Yes Alexander to create a "dream pop" gem. Her sultry and ethereal vocals have been drawing parallels to the contemporary inflections of a Joanna Newsom, Shara Worden (My Brightest Diamond) and Hope Sandoval (Mazzy Star). "Slow Burning Lights" is a beacon of sophistication in an overcrowded "indie pop" landscape, highlighting BSBD's versatility and serving as the bedrock release for this newly formed group. As Kingston of BSBD himself states:
