so jetzt hab ich das debut von ihm (Monsta Ganjah) gefunden und zwar nennt es sich Pacific Coast Highway (April 12, 2011)
Like most of his Polynesian brethren, Monsta is a humble, respectful gentleman (almost like a giant teddy bear) but if and when crossed, he can and will live up to his name and do permanent damage. Raised in Long Beach, CA and related to legendary West Coast rap group Boo Yaa T.R.I.B.E. on his father’s side (“I’m Samoan and Mexican so I represent for both,” he says) the MC is currently celebrating the success of his new single “This Is Love” and anticipating the U.S. release of his album, Pacific Coast Highway (due April 12).

I caught up with Monsta in Los Angeles to talk about his unique sound, the growing number of Polynesians in the spotlight (including the significant number of Pacific Islander players in the NFL, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson plus others), his affiliation with The Regime (Yukmouth, Tech N9ne, et al), his first cover story with Murder Dog magazine and more.
