Yes ladies and gents the Slick Rick Show has been confirmed - Slick Rick foreshadowed and epitomized the pimpster attitude of many rappers during the late '80s and early '90s, with gold chains, his trademark eye-patch, and recordings that were no less misogynistic -- "Treat Her Like a Prostitute," for example, became an underground hit in 1988. Fresh outta Jail - The Ruler's Back!!! and he's coming to Baltimore. Dat's right peeps. Slick Rick "The Ruler" will be in town for a show at next months Elements Party Feb. 21st at The Ottobar ((2549 N. Howard St.)) and guess who's opening up for him? Non other then Great Mindz www.mindfieldentertainment.com and J-Nina two of Baltimore's hottest artists! This is a BIG accomplishment for both artists along with local artists in general. FREE tickets will be given away TONIGHT at The Elements Party @ The Ottobar (9pm-2am). This is a show you wont wanna miss. |
