Ich habe den Beginn des Videos ohne Ton angeschaut, meine Güte ist das erbärmlich schlecht. Habe auch ehrlich gesagt keine Lust mir davon was anzuhören. Ist aber schon interessant das The Shark offensichtlich wieder im Geschäft ist, der hat meiner Erinnerung nach ja in den Neunzigern mal die ein oder andere 12" rausgebracht und ist dann auch in der Versenkung verschwunden (sofern es denn der gleiche ist)...

"The Susan Sarandon Story" is a free compilation produced entirely by ATG featuring artists such as Sean Price, Fashawn, Termanology, Planet Asia, Reks, Kool G Rap, Ruste Juxx, Show Tufli, Omar Aura, Maffew Ragazino, Push! Montana, Curt@!n$, A-1, Big Twins, & more. The project consists of mostly new material as well as songs that have been released in the past few months that were produced by ATG. Sponsored by Flud Watches and So-Gnar.com, "The Susan Sarandon Story" will be available for free download on January 17th, 2012.

Straight from The Bronx, the home of hip-hop, comes the trio, The Legion (Chucky Smash, Molecules and Cee-Low). The Legion first appeared on the amped posse cut, "We Boys" on Black Sheep's sophomore album, "Non-Fiction" in 1994. Later that year, as signees to Black Sheep's One Love imprint, they dropped the brilliant underground classic, "Jingle Jangle" – an ill piano sample driven track with a highly quotable finishing verse from Dres of Black Sheep. The Legion followed up with the sweet laden Roy Ayers looped up single, "Legion Groove" and their now much sought after debut album,"Theme + Echo = Krill" (1994) featuring Black Sheep, Chi-Ali and Showbiz & A.G.

After a hiatus for a few years, they resurfaced with the single, "Street Thing / Caught Up" (1998) on Legion Records/Fat Beats and some appearances on Dres' "Sure Shot Redemption" album. Then the Bronx trio went quiet.

While Molecules handled dope production for Dres, Milano, Amanda Marshall and even appeared on P!nk's "Stupid Girls", Chucky Smash's been hosting radio shows in the BX. The three long-time friends never stopped doing music together but it was already 2011 when the trio finally made a dope comeback on the Beneficence collabo track, "Aim, Fire, Spit".

Now, The Legion and their typical raw Bronx sound is back! The 7-inch, "Straight Flow / Automatic Systematic" features two unreleased tracks recorded and mixed in 1995 at the legendary D&D Studios, NYC. These two bangers are just a teaser for all you supporters of that true hip-hop sound. So stay tuned for a rough and rugged The Legion full length album later this year with additional production by DJ Premier, Showbiz and Buckwild!
