Was für Infos meinst du denn? Also Tracklist oder Cover hab ich auch noch nciht gesehen aber was schon mal ganz cool ist ist, dass von ODB Zeilen dabei sind, die aus der Zeit des ersten Albums stammen. Steht aber auch schon auf den Seiten vorher.

Und wegen features und so, ich gehe mal davon aus bzw hoffe dass es keine features von außerhalb geben wird.

einmal cappadonna und vllt noch so jemand wie 9th prince wär schon stark, aber der großteil der tracks sollte keine features haben, da stimm ich dir zu

Das ist ja alles ein wenig spärlich an Infos, wundert mich ja doch etwas. Habe jetzt schon öfter gesehen dass Konzerte mit dem Clan beworben werden mit dem Slogan dass dass das Konzerte zum Album-Release sein sollen...

Ghostface Talks New Wu-Tang Album


In a recent interview on Funkmaster Flex's Hot 97 radio show, Ghostface Killah briefly discussed his Wu-Tang brethren and their the upcoming album, 8 Diagrams.


"We were in the studio last night, we laid it down," Ghostface divulged. "We about to go to Europe next week for three weeks and then come back to do Rock The Bells with Rage Against The Machine, Public Enemy and Nas. It feels good to be around my brothers again and just try to put that work in..."




During the Q&A, the self proclaimed "Wally Champ" also revealed that he will release a solo album after the group's project drops.


"I stay working though, I got my other pizza pie, it's almost finished," he said referring to his forthcoming solo album. "I like to keep dropping them. It might be the Clan joint first and then I'll just go ahead and put my joint out. Ain't any time to waste, I don't want to speak too much on it but its heavy though."


As SOHH previously reported, Wu-Tang Clan signed with Rifkind's SRC Records this past December. The group, who gained prominence in the early 90's via Rifkind's now-defunct Loud Records, have not released a group album since 2001's Iron Flag.


During their six-year hiatus, all nine members of the group have released solo albums. The group's most eccentric member, ODB (born Russell Tyrone Jones), died in 2004 from an accidental drug overdose while recording his third solo project.


A release date for 8 Diagrams has yet to be determined.


In related news, Ghostface will be headlining the Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival tomorrow (June 23). He will be celebrating the final day of the month-long Festival, alongside other old school legends like Dres of Black Sheep, The Large Professor, and Sean Price. The Festival takes place at Empire Fulton Ferry State Park in DUMBO.

Wu-Tang Clan 'Unique' As Ever On 'The 8 Diagrams'


Ol' Dirty Bastard is gone, but his spirit looms large over "The 8 Diagrams," the Wu-Tang Clan's first album since 2001. The set is due in October via SRC. "He left a piece of himself in each and every one of us," group member RZA tells Billboard. "Even in the performance of some of the lyrics, you'll hear a style or attitude that he injected."

Although the hip-hop collective has been active on the road since last year, its members didn't hit the studio until April. "Me personally, I wasn't ready until then," RZA admits. "I reached out when I knew I was 100% ready to do it, and everybody came to the table."

Beyond the ODB tribute "Life Changes," look for "The 8 Diagrams" to feature tracks like "You Can't Stop Me Now," "We Got This," "Campfire" and "Thug World," which features System Of A Down bassist Shavo Odadjian. Rapper Q-Tip appears on an as-yet-unnamed track that may wind up being the first single.

For a change, RZA yielded some of the production duties to a handful of major names he isn't quite ready to reveal. "You will hear some unique sounding stuff and a vintage hip-hop spirit," he promises.

RZA says he is also working with an ODB outtake that was originally recorded for the group's seminal album "Enter the 36 Chambers." "I lost it, because the DJ who handled my equipment back then, we just got disconnected," he says. "He actually found the tape about eight months ago and flew out to California with it. The problem is, it doesn't sound all that great, because this was 1992 or 1993 when it was recorded. But ODB's performance is f*ckin' immaculate. So maybe I can find some software to restore it and put it on as a bonus track."

Wu-Tang will be on the road this summer with the Rock the Bells tour, and despite its members' busy schedules, RZA is hopeful the group is now back together for good. "We're rekindling flames," he says. "There's a strong potential this could be a long campaign, so this will keep us on the road together, on TV together and keep us working together."

In related news, Wu-Tang member Raekwon will unveil the debut album from his Ice Water clique, "Icewater: Polluted Water" Aug. 28 via Babygrande. The Staten Island-based quartet is bolstered by cameos from Method Man, Busta Rhymes, Three 6 Mafia, Rick Ross, Remy Ma and Jagged Edge on the project.

Props für die Bilder, Prince Bekannter von mir ist heute in Köln mit dabei. Meine zumindest dass das heute war.

Ja, ist heute!

War geil... ich hätte zwar vorher etwas weniger trinken sollen und war nich ganz so dicht an der Bühne wie ich's mir vorgestellt hab, aber war trotzdem cool! Vor allem "It's Yourz" und "Triumph" gingen richtig ab! Dumm war allerdings, dass Meth (wie schon in Offenbach) wieder nich dabei war... Grund weiß man nich! Hingen gleich am Eingang Zettel mit der Info, dass er nich da is! Man konnte allein deswegen sogar seine Karte an der Kasse zurückgeben... aber ich hab ihn ja schon mal gesehn, von daher konnte man's verschmerzen!

Kann gut sein das der der Kollege seine Karte auch gleich wieder umtauscht Ist n extremer meth fan.
Jetzt im Nachhinein hätte ich mir vielleicht doch ne Karte holen sollen. Glaub nicht dass die so schnell in der Konstellation noch mal in D auftreten.

Vielleicht durfte ja meth nicht ausreisen wie es in letzter zeit öfters passiert.

Ne, daran liegt's nich... vor 'ner Woche beim Konzert in Offenbach hieß es er sitzt im Hotel, weil er keinen Bock hat!
Aber zwischendurch is er wieder bei Konzerten dabeigewesen... London z.B.! Und gestern dann wieder nich...

Wenn das stimmt das er einfach keinen Bock hatte,dann ist er ein echtes Arschloch.
