Hat einer das Album von Krohme angehört? ich weiß nich genau obs hier reingehört, bzw ob er jetz Wu-affiliated is oder nich, aber auf wutangcorp wurde das Album auch dick angekündigt... Wu-international nennt ihn nur wu-like

http://wu-international.com/misc_albums ... isedue.htm

Würde gerne wissen obs sich lohnt. Hätte auch gern Snippets, dass ich selber mal reinhören kann...

RZA "Rappers are glorifying their hell"

RZA unleashes thoughts on ghetto glorification.
RZA is sick of hip-hop's singlemindedness, and released a statement blasting rappers who paint the ghetto as a good place to be. According to various news sources, RZA said, "Hip-hop is just unbalanced. Right now, rappers are glorifying their hell...

How you gonna tell me it's cool to live in the ghetto? Who wants to live where you got rats, roaches, pissy elevators, shootings, killings, rapings, drug addicts, alcoholics, all in a four-block radius?

"Now, out of nine Wu-Tang members, seven are felons... We were the problem of our communities, but we never bragged about it. We kept moving on about life," he continued. "But right now, these hip-hoppers are stuck on one thing. They stuck on sex and violence and drugs and partying. Life is way more than that. Especially the day after the party ends. When you get the f**k up the next day, what you gonna do?"

Shyheim "The Man Child" of Wu-tang Ready to Release New Album

Shyheim Narrates his fourth Album Global warning is Global warming. New Album/DvD From Wu-Tang’s Protégé give you the best of both worlds Global warming the album & Global warning the dvd. In what might be one of the best underground albums people have yet to hear. Shyheim’s latest record “love letters ,” feat Mya captures the hip-hop audience who yearn for a fresh and raw alternative to the commercial sounds that has taken over many of radio’s airwaves today. The 16-track album offers classic production from Wu-Tang’s own The RZA and legendary producer Easy Mo Bee, in
addition to up and coming producers , Stics no samples to name a few. In “Global warning..."

Shyheim transitions from adolescent thug to an astute street philosopher, delivering his fourth and most personal album to once again offer proof that he is still one of the best lyricists in hip-hop. Since he’s dropped three solo LPs since his 1994 debut “On and On,” Shyheim continues to recite eloquent and powerful thug poetry in every track. Accompanied by gritty, explosive beats, the 26-year old native Staten Islander rhymes about the hard-core facts of life in the ghetto, relationships with fellow Wu-Tang members and the music industry, and also recounts experiences from a recent incarceration in an upstate New York correctional facility. Shyheim’s journey from adolescence to manhood in the public eye is surely a great story that hasn’t been told.

Shyheim’s talent spread into the silver screen as Hollywood demanded his presence in films like “Original Gangsters” (1996) with Pam Grier and Fred Williamson, playing a wily bike-riding teen named Dink, “The Preacher’s Wife” (1996) with Denzel Washington and Whitney Houston and “In Too Deep” (1999) with LL Cool J and Omar Epps. Shyheim also appeared in episodes of Robert Townsend’s “The Parent ‘Hood” from 1996-1997. Shyheim just wrapped up a pilot episode for a series on HBO set to air in jun 2007 called “Winky’s Spot,” co-starring with boxing champion WInky Wright, rapper Jadakiss, and Bre and Tiffany from America’s Next Top Model. Wrote & Produce the dvd movie Global warning.

Living on both the East and West coasts, a young-minded rapper’s life living on the fast lane soon caught up with Shyheim in 2001, when he was charged with armed robbery and weapons possession. Invaluable lessons were learned during the two years he spent at Franklin Correctional Facility in upstate New York. Shyheim, who has learned of self-preservation and patience, is ready to take on the world again but this time, cannot be considered a “rugged child” any more look out for shyheim new youtube reality show

Wu-Tang New Album News

Bodog Music is proud to announce the European signing of legendary hip-hop crew Wu-Tang Clan. Bodog Music will release The 8 Diagrams, Wu-Tang's first studio album in 6 years, in Germany on September 7, with a separate release in the UK and the rest of Europe on September 10...

The album contains new tracks by the eight remaining original members, as well as unreleased vocals by the late Ol' Dirty Bastard, which were recorded during sessions for the group's first album. There will also be a tribute song to ODB called "Life Changes."

This is really what Bodog Music is all about: Hip-hop at its highest
"This is really what Bodog Music is all about: Hip-hop at its highest," says Bodog founder Calvin Ayre, who along with Wu-Tang's international representative Eva Ries, has closed a deal that will advertise the Wu-Tang brand and turn Bodog Music into an ambitious hip-hop label. "With the Wu-Tang Clan being the widely respected and revered group that they are, and Bodog's international music distribution expertise, the potential of this relationship in unlimited. Wu-Tang Clan still ain't nothing to f#@k with."

Ayre's sentiments are echoed by Wu-Tang producer RZA who says, "The RZA himself has called upon his Wu-Tang brothers to reunite and show the real unity and raw force of hip-hop. How can hip-hop be dead if Wu-Tang is Forever?"

Bodog Music's marketing competence will be a big lift to Wu-Tang in Europe, as the record label signed the group exclusively for European releases, with distribution via Pinnacle in the UK and EDEL for the rest of the continent.

After a two year hiatus, the hip-hop collective will be touring Europe this summer, including two UK shows at the Hammersmith Apollo on July 5 and the Manchester Apollo on July 6. Appearing live will be original Wu-Tang members, Ghostface Killah, RZA, GZA, Raekwon, Method Man, Inspectah Deck, Masta Killa, U-God and Cappadona. This summer the crew hits the road in the U.S. with Rage Against The Machine and Public Enemy.

Debuting in 1993, the Staten Island, NY-based Wu-Tang Clan is one of the most revolutionary hip-hop acts of all time. Throwing out the pre-established formulas for breaking a rap group, Wu-Tang methodically released each album while cultivating the solo careers of all nine MCs.

After its breakthrough album, Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers), the Clan reconvened in 1997 for the much-anticipated double-album Wu-Tang Forever, which simultaneously shot straight to #1 in the US and UK charts. In 2000, the group released The W, which included the hit single Gravel Pit and most recently, Iron Flag in 2001.
