A ZONESTRUMENTAL SUMMER

Just as you get used to your Bo$$ Hog Barbarian$ CD, be on the lookout for 2 new J-Zone projects this summer! The first being a brief tribute endeavor called Experienced! (keep your eye on the net as it will leak in the near future), which y'all can download, bootleg, fileshare, etc. Its unofficial, but it's still music, so enjoy and go mp3 crazy with it. Zone's "baby" will be the soundtrack to an unofficial movie he was trying to script called To Love A Hooker. All instrumental, the album has a storyline, beats to fit each scene, liner notes to follow the story and clips from "the film" with a small cast of characters to guide you. Audio of one beat, "Prostitute", is up on the J-Zone myspace page now. Look for the project to drop late summer on Old Maid Entertainment and 4 songs to be available on the myspace page for preview by late July.

When not dissing the Knicks, dealing with more "Hog Luv" type crazy women that drive him crazy or getting To Love A Hooker ready, Zone has been back doing freelance production after a low profile 2005. Check for new J-Zone produced joints and remixes for Tha Alkaholiks (2 different "Flute Song" remixes), AWOL 1 ("This Far" from the War of Art album), Apathy ("Chemical" remix) and on upcoming albums from Sadat X, Outerspace, Akrobatik, A Plus of Souls Of Mischief, Del, Vakill, Vast Aire and more. 2006 should end up being a hoggified Zone year after a very rough start and a quiet 2005.

J-Zone's first official instrumental record, To Love A Hooker: The Motion Picture Soundtrack, is now slated for release on Old Maid Entertainment. It's concept album, a soundtrack for a movie that doesn't actually exist! Fake movie clips, a cast of characters, scene descriptions in the liner notes, some crazy beats, an easy to follow storyline about a dude's wife leavin him and him falling for a hooker/stripper...it's all there!!! Except the lyrics!! This is a chance for all y'all that hit Zone about beats to do your own version of a J-Zone concept album. Or maybe you just want the beats without Zone's dumb antics. Whatever. This could be some cool "make your own concept album" shit for y'all that Zone did for fun, so check for it. Ist doch Verarsche (bezogen auf das Experienced Album), selbst wenn es rar wäre (was ich angesichts der Tatsache dass es das Album bei Sandbox immer noch unproblematisch gibt kaum glauben kann) ist es doch scheiße wenn ich da 20 Minuten Musik drauf packe und das zum normalen Preis verkaufe . Und jetzt kommt noch so ein komisches Projekt mit diesem Hooker Soundtrack hinterher, was will man mit den beschissenen J-Zone Instrumentals

(P.S.: Habe natürlich beide Alben bestellt )

beschissen sind die ja nicht aber trotzdem 20 Minuten ist echt ne Frechheit.

Habe das Boss Hog Barbarians Album jetzt 2 mal angehört und ich muss sagen, einfach ne Bombe, richtig geile Zone Beats, naja bin kein zu großer Celph Titled Fan, hätte es besser gefunden wenn Zone mehr rappen würde, aber der geht doch ganz gut ab auf der Platte, und was finden alle an Celph Destruction so geil, finde ich im Vergleich zu den anderen Tracks mit am langweilligsten auf dem Album

Die How To Love A Hooker muss ich mir noch besorgen, bin ich aber gespant wie ein Flitzebogen drauf.

also soweit ich mich erinnern kann, fand ich an dem album nur celph destruction geil, rest war ne herbe enttäuschung imo ^^

Also ich finde das Album richtig, richtig gut, zwar nicht so geil wie A Job Ain't Nuthin But Work, aber 8,5 + ist das sicherlich schon, ein paar Beats gefallen mir nicht und von den Lyrics ist das teilweise nicht so super, aber Tracks die ich richtig geil finde sind

Habe mir die How To Love A Hooker jetzt mal gegeben, und das Teil ist irgendwie stinkenlangweillig, ohne Raps die das ganze Interessant machen, deutlich langweilligere Beats als auf seinen letzten Releases und vorallem ständig reingesamplte Stimmen die das ganze irgendwie stören. EIn paar Beats sind ganz geil, aber ist jetzt nich so berauschend das Teil imo....

Laut seiner Homepage hat Zone das MCen jetzt endgültig drangegeben und konzentriert sich nur noch aufs Produzieren, schade eigentlich Will auch an der Ostküste keine Konzerte geben nur noch Overseas und an der Westküste, wenn er gebucht wird.

Hat jetzt angeblich auch eine Nebenrolle in einem Low Budget Film.

Naja da ich wohl der einzige hier bin der J-Zone wirklich mag, wird sein Rücktritt vom Mic hier sicherlich von einigen begrüßt

In der Tat ! Er hat offenbart eingesehen dass das mit dem Rappen eh nix bringt, gefällt mir. Und das er jetzt keinen Halbtagesjob mehr als Produzent hat finde ich auch gut, kann seinem abwechslungsarmen und langweiligen Beats nur gut tun wenn er da mal ein paar Stunden mehr rein investiert...

J-Zone hat wohl jetzt ein Buch mit dem Titel "Root For The Villain: Rap, Bull$hit, and a Celebration of Failure " draußen:
