GRIM TEAM…

In 1996, a crew of graffiti artists emerged from the streets of Paris. After making their mark on the trains, tracks, billboards and buildings of the city of lights, the infamous GRIM TEAM branched out to conquer the professional world.

In 2001, members Reign and Chaze made the move across the Atlantic to bring the GRIM TEAM state of mind to North America, presenting GT ‘s clothing and music productions to the world’s largest urban market. Both industry veterans in their own right, the two bring a combined 10 years of experiences in music and clothing distribution to the table, having worked with companies like Def Jam, Rawkus, Carhartt and Phat Farm in Europe.
Soon after moving to New York, Chaze and Greg quickly connected with like-minded individuals in the hip-hop industry such as Mobb Deep, Noreaga, Tragedy, Saigon and more… who instantly identified with the sound and visuals of GRIM TEAM’s productions.

Having unfolded the first stage of their plan, GRIM TEAM is now ready to unleash a second phase in their New York incarnation, a compilation Album creating a link between the clothing line and the music production team. The project will include collaborations with :
Kool G Rap, Noreaga, Styles P,Saigon, Infamous mobb,Prospect and More…
With production by Buckwild, Lord Finesse etc…. This Album entitled “Once Upon a Time in America” will be released on GRIM TEAM’s label “The Sixteen Chapel”.
