Das hat Grimm zu dem Digital Tearz Album vor ein paar Tagen geschrieben, ein paar persönliche Anmerkungen zum Entstehungsprozeß des Albums:
Zitat:
Digital Tears was made in the Box on a cheap ass drum and bass machine. What's the big deal? I went with what made me happy and that was the reason that I didn't want to change my shit. That was my therapy while I was in prison and when I came out. While I made those songs motherfuckers were dying, and if I didn't have that little bullshit ass machine, I might still be in prison. So in memory of the brothers who died behind that wall who was a celly or even just someone who you know... I left the shit the way it was. But don't get it twisted, even some of the other tracks that you like from outside producers I fixed them up (with the help of Looie II) they didn't sound like this. And other songs were made in a few minutes like me and J- Zone, we made both of those songs in 1 hour. The only reason it took that long was I was fucking it up. Digital Tears was a growing up album, it was the only album not involved with selling drugs or being involved with some bullshit, I wanted to go against the easy whims and temptations of the devil in me saying how I'll kill a human being, I MADE THE BEATS, Digital Tears was designed that way for a reason! So I do understand if you don't feel everything, but the lows you're talking about are other people's highs, and the ones you might like on Digital tears other people might say was wack, (it's up to the person). People ask me to repress it but I'm NEVER going to repress it. That's a real personal album I made that album for me and me alone, every other album was made for others to enjoy. American Hunger is not for me, but January when I drop Super Star Jet Jaguar; Digital Blood that's for me again so expect more highs and lows and like Digital Tears... it will only be sold for a limited time.
