It looks like Shady Records capo Cashis is litteraly dropping a new mixtape every other week! In 2008 he's released "Bogish Boy Vol. 2", "The Leak" with dubcnn, "Loose Cannon" and now his producer Rikkinati just sent over a new mixtape full of Cashis material called "Blacc Jesus", hosted by DJ Arkane.

The mixtape features 19 tracks, some over original production by Rikkinati, and some over other people's beats. In usual dubcnn manner, we have the full mixtape right here for you to download, burn, promote, whatever you wanna do with it.

Jake Records Sets Release Date For New Digital Underground Album

"..Cuz A d.u. Party Don't Stop!" will be released May 27th by Jake Records. The label signed Digital Underground in March of this year and announced a new album.


Seattle, WA (PRWEB) April 17, 2008 -- Jake Records today announces the official release date for the new Digital Underground album "..Cuz A d.u. Party Don't Stop!" The label will release the album via iTunes, Amazon.com MP3, Rhapsody, Napster, and many others on May 27th, 2008...




The album features 18 tracks and includes all new materials with hot singles like "Cali Boogie" and "Blue Skyy" but also includes live recordings of fan favorites from the road.

Remy Ma muss in den Knast
Ein Gericht in New York hat US-Rapperin Remy Ma (26) wegen schwerer Körperverletzung zu acht Jahren Haft verurteilt.

Die Anklage wog schwer: Im vergangenen Juli hatte Remy Ma eine Frau vor einem New Yorker Nachtclub angeschossen und dabei schwer verletzt.

Der Gewaltattacke war ein Streit um Geld vorausgegangen: Die Rapperin hatte die Frau beschuldigt, ihr 2.000 Dollar aus der Geldbörse gestohlen zu haben. Remy Ma gestand die Tat, betonte jedoch, der Schuss habe sich versehentlich gelöst.

Ein Detail, das das Gericht ganz offensichtlich nicht beeindrucken konnte.

Remy Ma, mit bürgerlichem Namen Reminence Smith, gehörte zur einschlägigen Musik-Szene des Big Apple.

2004 war sie Mitglied der Gruppe „Terror Squad“, die für den Sommerhit „Lean Back“ eine Grammy-Nominierung einheimste.

2005 wurde sie bei den BET Awards als beste Hip-Hop-Künstlerin ausgezeichnet. Doch ihr Solo-Karriere floppte. Von ihrer erfolgreichsten CD „Conceited" wurden gerade mal 158 000 Stück verkauft.

Little Brother Returns With Second LP In Less then year

After last year's critically acclaimed Get Back [click to read], Little Brother is returning with And Justus For All on their own co-operative Hall Of Justus imprint. The project began as the Mick Boogie-hosted mixtape used to promote Get Back. The work featured appearances from Black Star, Ray Cash and AZ as well as production from RJD2.
"We decided to officially release And Justus For All for the fans. Since all of our mixtapes are more like actual albums, many people have been requesting us for deejay free versions of these mixtapes. So to all of the fans out there that's been asking for it, you're welcome," Rapper Big Pooh told HipHopDX today.
Now packaged as an "official album," And Justus For All features five new songs, released specifically for this project. Two additional new songs are appearing on the digital version of the June 10 release, available on iTunes. Among the bonus songs, "Black Light Special" will reunite the group with former producer and deejaying third member 9th Wonder. Four of the other new tracks are produced by longtime affiliate Khrysis [click to read].
Oh No! and Tiye Phoenix of Polyrhythm Addicts make appearances, as DJ Spinna also produces a track. Traffic Entertainment will be the release's distributor.

Washington state based Jake Records announces today the worldwide release of the new album from multi-platinum Hip Hop legends Digital Underground. The album, "..Cuz A d.u. Party Don't Stop!" has been announced as the group's last official full-length studio album...
