c-bo
Born as Shawn Thomas known as C-Bo or the bo loc which ever one you like is short for Cowboy or as he calls it c.o.w.b.o.y. C-Bo grew up in the notorious Gardens Block 29th street of Sacramento's south side in California. C-Bo is insighted with the bay area where he met Spice 1 they are friends and always spits together practicing their rhymes but when it came down to getting signed the bo just wanted to be down and never really knew how big he would blow up. C-Bo used to sell drugs and gang bang while growing up, he wears the tightest clothes he first signed to awol records, he then met X-Raided, Luni Coleone one of his tightest prodejes he taught them about growing up because of what all he had been through and has a lot of friends because he grew up there, he got a reputation which resulted in him going to Jail, he spent much of the last decade incarcerated in soledad prison is soledad, Ca. He has worked with many great Rappers such as Tupac Shakur, E-40, Richie Rich, Dj Scribble, Jayo Felony, South Central Cartel, Caz, Spice 1, San Quinn The Outlawz, X Raided and Mac Mall. He appeared on Tradin War Stories that features him and only the outlaws so he is the only bay area rapper representing in that one song an outstanding feat and Ain’t Hard to find where he hooks up with effizy and richie rich on All Eyez on me of course we would all like to see like richie rich did “rather be ya nigga” we would like to see a song with just C-Bo and pac. He has a wide range of variety of guest appearances and hits the best of sacramento the best of black market records he is so sometimes hard to find like on JT The Bigga Figga's album Game tight the song major factors where I never knew about that song till today when I started to write this thing.
C-Bo's debut album was Gas Chamber in 1994. That was followed by The Autopsy in 1994. In 1995 Tales from the Crypt was released. Also in 1995 Best of C-Bo was released. C-Bo's fifth album was released in 1997 called One life 2 Live. C-Bo served 15 months at Soledad Jail for illegal firearms use, it was due to the accidental killing of a man struck by a bullet C-Bo fired into the air during a gang conflict. C-Bo was released from jail in June 1997 during that time Awol records tried to gain profit by putting out “Bad records trying to end me“ well of course they were good but the last one was Final Chapter but then they added the Best Appearances just trying to cash on him being in jail while everybody is waiting for the bo‘s return from jail. A part of his parole was banned from activities promoting gang lifestyle or anti-law enforcement sentiments that is where the editorials come into play you can read that in another section. About jacking cops never snitch all that type of stuff. Well of course C-Bo always does the opposite of what he’s told even though he does have a first amendment right and will try to use that in his case.
C-Bo released his 6th album in early 1998 called Till my casket drops. It featured E-40, Spice-1, Mac Mall, JT the Bigga Figga, Outlaw Immortals, Big Syke, Marvaless, Killa Tay, Lunasicc, 151, Mob Figgas and Pizzo, Laroo one of his best protejes. If you want go see the review section I did about this album. The first single was Money by the Ton. The faggot parole officials concluded the new album, "Till My Casket Drops," violated his parole the song Deadly Game included the line about police "So when they try to pull you over, shoot 'em in the face, y'all." C-Bo was arrested because he was not allowed to do gangsta rap. During that time Mtv cover man Chuck someguy reports on bo as being the first to ever do so. C-Bo could of gone pack to jail for a year for parole violation but for him that‘s nothing because he‘s a strong nigga but he needs to get his priorities straight with his records I mean if the bo was around to do all those album man they would of been tight but if he had been around to do those albums there might of been less of him because an artist is very picky about how many to put out and he didn’t have to spend his album time doing guest appearances of other people’s album or working with his protejes. But hey at least awol came consistantly..
C-Bo released his seventh album on A.W.O.L in 1999 called The Final Chapter that we all thought was his last album on awol when we turned around awol just put out another one with a few appearance albums Boss Ballin one and two West Coast Trippin all that good stuff.. Now C-Bo is going to have his own label West Coast Mafia (W.C.M) that he is supposed to spend all this time with his proteges but man they suck well some I mean we just want the bo and in good form. He needs to step up like Krazyie bone of bone thugs n harmony. Where Krazyie makes 100 songs a month and is coming consistantly so his album is like a greatest hits yes we are putting bo on a high critical reviews but hey that‘s what happens when you blow up and become famous you got to take responsiblity for being a celebrity.
C-Bo's Mob Figaz was released in 1999 with his group Mob Figaz featured were laroo and Spice 1 the beats are good but the figaz is the figaz they are not c-bo but you can still like them but there not coming consistant. Lately has it that they are breaking up because ap9 did a solo album. With all that said C-Bo released his eight album in 2000 called Enemy of The State a remake of his best classic album “till my c. drops“ but in a 2000 rap era where it still competes with the new type of rap. On a new label a more popular known label that gives it more distribution to let people know is a good attempt he even had a music video done called “Get the Money“ and a few other ones you can watch at supersonic.net but of course your not going to see them played on Mtv fo sure and not late at night either or Bet station because he is not a mtv mainstream cat.
In 2001 AWOL records released C-Bo's Best Appearances 1991 - 1999 that got us surprised when we thought awol records was out of putting cbo on any longer, they even tried to say they had a website awolrecords.com but I looked nothing there either but let‘s see if they have any more songs left in the vault but I doubt it‘s going to come out. One because the bo was appeared on the cover of Best Appearances so he favored it and he’s gone so I don’t think they are going to go behind his back to make and album while he is out of jail. And of course you and I know that no one at least from the west side is going to record on a bo album not wanting it if he didn’t want it and awol went behind his back. Then he apparently joined aside of the regime with dru down while he hooked up with dat nigga daz fo da bomb ass song on enemy of the state while daz just did a few albums on black market records he now left so he is on roc a fella so I doubt they will be recording any time soon because bo ain’t like that and he’s always gone stay independant biatch. But we wouldn’t mind to see the bo on mtv. He did a few songs on the regime album that album but of course that is not going to last because the bo is always coming out with hard shit and is making up for lost time. He apparently is doing a duet with a long time sacramento rapper Brotha Lynch Hung, the album is apparently called bloccmovent that’s supposed to come harder then ever well I’m writing this before it comes out and we will see we will see does or does not live up to your expectations. You can go to the website at
www.bloccmovent.com or
www.blackmarektrap.com but as I tried it, they both didn’t work so we are all waiting if they make a website that I doubt because I looked at the best of Sacramento album and saw
www.blackmarketrec.com and tried that and that didn’t work so I don’t know if these compaines are trying to mess with us or something they need to get they mind right for doing that shit punk shit. But forget that just come to this website and feed us your details we are now doing editorials on bo so if you know some go ahead and send some send your opinions but in long form and his trials and inside information if you get a certain magaize with an interview in it go ahead and email it all that stuff ect.
und auch sonst hört man immer wieder von irgendwelchen schießereien etc.
